Pronterface will change all commands to capital letters, which could be messing up your SSID password.

Best way to add an SSID is to put the commands into a macro file named ADDSSID.g on the SD card, and then send M98 Paddssid.g to run it.

            Here are 3 options:

            • Is there a terminal emulator on your Mac? if so, use that instead of Pronterface.
            • Use Pronterface, but for every lowercase character in your SSID and password in the M587 command, prefix that character with a single quote character. This will undo the conversion to uppercase that Pronterface performs.
            • Move the SD card to a PC, then in the /gcodes folder create a file called SetNetwork.g. In that file, put the M587 command that you want to send. Save it, safely eject it, put it back in the Duet and restart the Duet. Then run M98 P"SetNetwork.g" from Pronterface.

Let me know if the description of how to proceed from DC42 isn't enough and I can provide an example macro that you can fill in your SSID and password and use to add the network.

@Jaime Are you working through this guide? https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Getting+Connected+to+your+Duet/7

It sounds like it's not finding a network that it knows about to connect to.

If you're connected using YAT on a Windows PC, send:
                  M552 S-1 ; to stop WiFi module
M552 S0 ; to put Wifi into idle mode
M587 ; to get a list of remembered WiFi networks

If your network is not on the list, add it with:
                  M587 S"your-network-ssid" P"your-network-password"
M587 ; get list of WiFi networks to check it's there
M552 S1 ; to connect to the network

Also send M115 and post response. There is a bug in RRF 3.0 that doesn't set the password, so update to latest if using RRF 3.

                      @Jaime Send M115, post response.

Copy paste the log from sending the commands in my previous post, so we can see the responses. Without information, we can't help!

Send M588 S"*" to clear the entire current list.

                                        Then send M587 S"Red Wi-FI de Jaime Capllonch" P"password"

Then send M587 by itself to see if it was added to the list correctly.

If the letter case wasn't preserved, you can use a macro on the SD card to add it rather than send it over USB console.
