Extruder Stepper Choice

Hi All,
I'll be starting to build my V-Core 2.0 soon, and am still mulling over what extruder/hot end I'll be using.
I'll definitely go with a Bondtech BMG, as I'm very pleased with the one I'm using already, and there's a fairly good chance I'll spend the money and go with the Slice Mosquito hot end as I like how it bolts up to the BMG.
I was going to go with some small steppers I've got here off a Zortrax M200 extruder, as they're compact and work well at 500mA, but I don't have any specs on them at all. I'll assume they are 1.8 deg steppers.
Does anyone have any recommendation, possibly from "Steppersonline" in Australia that would work for a large corexy machine in direct drive configuration, using the BMG/Mosquito combo mentioned above? Do I need 1.8 or 0.9 deg for the extruder? I would prefer a plug on the stepper, just for ease of working on the hot end assy.
I should point out that while I'll stay with a standard 0.4mm nozzle, I might aim for being able to use a 0.8mm on occasion, so I can use a 1mm wall thickness/0.5mm layer height on larger prints. I am focused on print quality, not speed.
I have a PT100 with daughter board here, but if there's any advantage I'll go with a PT1000.
I've got the exact X, Y and Z steppers you used in your corexy. They look good and were cheap/ex stock from Steppersonline in OZ.

For the extruder I would go with a 0.9 for the resolution potential. The BMG is geared 3:1 so you should have plenty of torque and speed if you decide to print with a larger flow nozzle.
As for which motor exactly to choose it will depend a bit on your mounting space. Pancake steppers are attractive for extruders, as the small size is lightweight, but they also don't have a lot of torque. Not an issue if you're on the conservative side of flow rate, and an occasional slip on the extruder might not even be noticeable. But If you can manage a slightly longer motor you can be a bit more certain you'll have the pushing power there.
As for PT100 over PT1000, if you already have a PT100 and daughterboard stick with that. PT1000 doesn't require a daughterboard, so a bit cheaper if you're starting fresh.
I've used this pancake and it was alright, however the shaft was a bit too short when I changed my titan aero mount and had to move to a larger motor (E3D compact but powerful).

@Phaedrux Bondtech offers 18Ncm pancake steppers and I had trouble driving a genuine BMG reliably with a 13Ncm pancake stepper, so I would recommend staying at or above those torque levels.

@Corexy Ref the BMG/Mosquito combo, be aware that you need the BMG-M, not the standard BMG which has an E3D type groove mount.

Actually, that makes perfect sense and has the mounted plug as well.
I'd seen that before, must be getting a bit dizzy in my old age.......

Yep, I am aware of that but thanks for the reminder.
I just don't like that E3D mounting groove. It's a pain in the arse in fact.
