Unsolved Duet 3 rrf3.1.1 Z offset
-
I can't seem to get my z offset to the bed to change anything. I have set it to 6 and to -6 and it stays the same.

Please post your homeall.g file.

My probe is a simple IR probe. Seems to be working fine. Just won't change height when I start a print. I never use homeall Just x then y the z. But I'm not opposed

In that case post those files.
-
@mrenz999 this homing file would not work. The xy move stops at the first x or y endstop, repeated a second time, also stopping at the first endstop. Necessary is after the first stop to move x and y separately, so the other endstop is reached also. In ducumentation is an example.
Please see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCoreXYPrinter#Section_homeall_g_file
but S1 replaced by H1 -
@Phaedrux I would like to use the homeall but it doesn't work so I use the individual ones.

@JoergS5 Thank you for the link. I will try to implement those and see what happens.
-
@mrenz999 in worst case -335 may not reach the endstop, just use e.g. -400 for x and y movements, it stops when reaching the endstop.
At M201 is missing the E for the last value, please add.

Please post your slicer start gcode as well.
Your homeall looks to mirror your individual homing files. What exactly happens when you homeall?

Can you post the entirety of your config.g?
Also please post the results of M122.
Trying to duplicate your config in the online configurator I seem to get something similar without an M950 as well. Maybe I'm confused myself.

Sorry, ignore this. I've been looking at too many BLTouch threads. You do not need a M950 for the IR probe because there is obviously no servo to control!
Going back to your original problem description:
@mrenz999 said in Duet 3 rrf3.1.1 Z offset:

Where are you trying to set it and how are you measuring the result?
For the IR probe you should have a G31 Z with a positive value (the probe triggers before the nozzle hits the bed. Negative would mean the nozzle touches and presses into the bed.)
Have you gone through this? https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe
