Post a photo of the sensor and the board.

@Phaedrux With the wire, or a 100 ohm resistor, or simply with the "daughterboard" removed I get the same result.......2000 and faultScreenshot (27).png

Use the 100 ohm resistor. A wire will give you a 2000 reading.

If you send the M305 P3 X201 command from the console, does it respond with an error message?

What is the response if you send M305 P3 X200?

That is a thermistor, not a PT100 sensor.

Either connect the thermistor directly to the thermistor inout on the Duet board, or get a PT100 sensor like this to use with the daughterboard.

You can also try sending just M305 P3. The response should include a description of the last error.

@sd_matt it would appear that you are trying to connect a thermistor to the daughterboard. The daughterboard you have is for use with a PT100, there are links above taking you to a page that shows very clearly how to connect it.
If you connect the PT100 to the connector you have the wire linked in the photo then use M305 P3 X201, if you use the other connector then select channel 200 instead of 201.

If you want to use the thermistor then it will need to be connected to the appropriate terminal on the Duet motherboard not the daughterboard.

Great. In the meantime, you should try using the resistor that came with the daughterboard to check that the daughterboard and your configuration is working, so that when the sensor arrives you can connect it and be up and running quickly.
