or this can be fixed ?

depends on how handy you are with a soldering iron; you could try to take some abrasive to the area and abrade off the blue layer getting down to the copper traces and soldering some bridges across.

@bearer That's more optimistic than my answer was going to be.

🙂 i've been around too much bob the builder watching little people - the optimism seems to rubs off no matter how hard i try to resist!

however no doubt about it, its fiddly work, but certainly possible.

this pic are x60 times the size , my iron is bigger than 2 lines no way to solder 😞

@bearer the idea is to solder the cut off lines right /?

if its just a hairline break in the trace you'd probably be okay with some tacky flux and just dragging the tip across with a little solder on to bridge the gap; but some experience would help

if you have a meter you could try measuring the resistance across as shown on the back of the board? (power off)

close up: (edit: maybe not having it mirrored helps..)

R11, and R14 as indicated by the tall elipses.

then compare to the other half of the bridge on R11 and R13 as indicated by the wide elipses?

B and T on the schematic are essientially 10k resistors in the form of PCB traces, and you're trying to measure if they are different:

to the top strain gauge is 31.5 and the bottom is 34; not convinced the traces in that strain gauge are broken - but probably best to see if the Duet people has something to say about it before drawing conclusions

Tf the top and bottom traces compete read ~30Ohms each then the score has not gone through them completely.

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity down to see if you can get a range that it triggers reliably when it taps on the bed (be careful, maybe hold a hard surface higher for initial tests and be prepared to cut power).

it is working but sometimes it just flash by itself and i dont think any traces of touch on these gauge is doing it because if it is why its not doing it all the time ??!!

@T3P3Tony am using SKR 1.4 Turbo not duet , so my MOD pin is not connected to anything right now ,

let me just explain what is the issue i see , the smart effector works fine and do auto claib and all is good but all of sudden it start to flash even if its not doing anything , if i reboot the printer and it become normal again

shouldn't listen to random strangers on the internet; btw I've got candy!

(sorry, I just randombly stumped onto the post where it was assumed damaged, and worked back to look at a way to verify as repairs seemed unlikely)

Does it make any difference (to the random flashes) whether the motors are energised or not?

Does it make any difference whether the heated bed is on or off, or how close to the bed the effector is?

If you remove the effector from the printer, apply 3.3V or 5V to the Vcc and ground connections of the white 8-pin connector with nothing else connected, does the green LED still flash randomly when the effector is still?

@dc42 i tried that and no flashing , i just did now auto delta calibration and went fine

                                            G32
                                            Calibrated 8 factors using 16 points, (mean, deviation) before (-0.174, 0.045) after (-0.000, 0.021)
                                            Auto calibration successful, deviation 0.021mm

then did mesh level and it stopped saying

                                            G29
Error: Z probe already triggered before probing move started

then i just reboot the printer then i did G32

                                            G32
                                            Calibrated 8 factors using 16 points, (mean, deviation) before (-0.212, 0.042) after (0.000, 0.019)
                                            Auto calibration successful, deviation 0.019mm

                                            and then mesh 170/30

                                            G29
101 points probed, min error -0.571, max error 0.685, mean 0.033, deviation 0.242
Height map saved to file heightmap.csv

so it does it every 2nd time i ask for mesh g29

                                            its random
