How far along here do you get?

        https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/What_to_do_if_your_Duet_won't_respond

Did anything happen to the board recently?
Was it working previously or is this a new build?
When and where did you purchase the board?

@Phaedrux it was working previously fine all the sudden the Ethernet port stop blinking so I thought it could just need to be connected to yat and do m552s1 to turn on but when I connect to yat it won't do anything it won't even show any devices connected even on my device manager tried different cabel and my other pc still nothing. Also I jumped the 2 pins on the duet to perform firmware whipped out so I can reinstall it via bossa still nothing But I did notice one thing on the ethernet bord the mcu was smoking hot literally it burned my finger and also the cpu very hot as well even if its power from a USB port.

Before I started this thread I did look at the form you sent me and I did exactly as it instructed. I'm not sure what happend but I believe it killed the CPU somehow.

very unlikely unless you skipped the Do not apply VIN power to the Duet at this point. line at the top.

uploading some pictures of the board might help identify the cause.

So any other steps I can do to get it working at least if I can see the board pops up on my device manager

This is generally not a good sign, but may still be recoverable.

With the firmware erased if you can't get it to show up in device manager at all even after trying multiple cables and usb ports maybe even a different PC, then we have no way of trying to flash the firmware again (assuming that would even be possible and the MCU isn't totally dead).

If you have exhausted all options available I will authorize a warranty exchange. Please contact your vendor and initiate a warranty claim. Point them to this thread as authorization.

Just in case there was a wiring short or something shorting against the board, please make sure you've got your wiring squared away and use the nylon washers and standoffs when mounting the board so that another short doesn't develop with the new board.
