I hope the file dated 1/17/2025 is a newspaper with both the President of the USA discussed as well as the stock market.

          Please forward to the group.

Looks like the filesystem is corrupted, for whatever reason; doubt there is much to do about it unless you have a backup.

@Phaedrux I think when I sent gcode via web controls some how corrupted the files. I am running the latest version of software. means I get to recalibrate everything this time I am going to make a back up of the files.

Unlikely to be caused by sending g-codes to the DuetWebControl, while there are a limited set of M codes to manipulate the SD card there is nothing that would rename existing files.

Or better off, use github. Edit on your computer, upload to Duet and commit to github. This way you will have full history. It's free and reliable.

@bearer I don't believe the gcode caused the error I think the write process had issues and the rest of the file name data set was corrupted

Some board have had issues with sd card connector, but i'd be surprised to see that as the result. Which brand/model of card was deliverd with the board ( think that can vary between resellers?)

I'm not sure what the stock card was but I had swapped it out for a 8 gb Samsung because I don't trust those cheap china 2 gb cards you usually get with these things. My thinking is it was the card reader but you never know I have had this for several years maybe its just going bad. Looks like a duet 3 upgrade in my future.

Which Duet and what firmware version were you using when the files became corrupted?

I unfortunately had this happen to my Duet a few days ago. I had a backup, but it was old. 😞

I found a program called "Disc Drill" that restores deleted and corrupted SD card files. It managed to find all my files correctly (with a little tinkering) except my print started tune, which was one note off! 😃

                              Not affiliated, just a tip!

Mac only it seems? Glad it worked though. Maybe it will help someone else down the road.

No, they advertise heavily for Mac, but they also support Windows. I run a Windows setup.
