Duet2 Wifi connection dropping
-
Can you send M122 and copy and paste the results?
-
2.12.2020, 18:20:48 M122
2.12.2020, 18:20:27 M122
2.12.2020, 18:17:56 Connected to 192.168.1.148 -
Is that from the gcode console in the web interface or over pronterface and usb?
There should be a large diagnostic report that comes from that.
What about sending M115? That should report the firmware version.
-
I am sorry, i am not an expert in the computer stuff!
This is from the web console when printer is in idle.
When i am at printing, the web console lost connection and is not reachable, but you can see printer is connected via wifi!
It is in this moment only reachable via pronterface -
Then i get a failure Code 503

Please try M122 again.
-
I am right now on printing a temp Tower.
I type M122, and connection lost!
And i can´t connect printer back to Web console -
are there any cables overlapping with the ethernet cable?
-
Can you send M122 over USB then when your print is finished.
I'd like to see what firmware version the wifi server is running an what kind of signal strength you're getting.
Since you're running 2.03 your board will need a firmware update, but first we need to know if your wifi connection is workable or if we need to do it manually.
-
No, because it´s wifi

@Phaedrux
do you find the result? -
Thanks.
Let's start by manually updating the firmware and DWC files.
You'll need to remove the SD card from the Duet and put it in your PC.
First make a backup copy of the SD card contents.
Then replace the contents of the /www folder with the contents of this zip file: https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/2.05.1/DuetWebControl-SD-2.0.7.zip
Then download this zip file: https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/2.05.1/Duet2Firmware-2.05.1.zip
extract it, and copy the .bin files in to the /sys folder.
Duet2CombinedFirmware.bin
DuetWifiServer.bin
iap4e.bin
iap4s.binThen put the SD card back in the Duet and connect via USB and use pronterface to send the command
M997 S0:1
When it reboots, send M122 again to confirm that RRF 2.05.1 and wifi server 1.23 are installed.
Then try to access the web interface again.

it works approx 5 min .
Then i got the message :
-
In this moment it is impossible to have access to Web console.
Only when i switch printer off and on it is connected immediately
-
Is there anyone who can help me ?
-
My guess is that your problems might be that you haven't setup a static ip address for your printer, or that your printer is located somewhere with to low signal strength.
Have you read up on setting up static ip for your printer (on the duet wiki), and want to give it a try?
-
Or power wire of psu or bed are near the wifi module, could you check if it's the case ?
