Duet 2 wifi failures

Hi!

Its taken me a 4 months and i can say i have finally installed my first duet2 wifi on an Anycubic Predator. What a stressful project this has been for someone not at all good at wiring, but ive managed well and i will probably upgrade my other printers! It was fun and a learning curve with alot of research. However. I have some problems.

After i did a M587 my interface page did not load, i tried to reinstall everything on the sd card and it still does not work. I also tried to redo the M587 and it failed. I also tried M997 to load the WifiServer.bin but no luck there either and then i saw another post and i tried M21 and it didn't load the sd card. So how do i fix this? In advance thank you for replies.

It’s important to turn off WiFi, and then turn it on in idle mode, before adding SSID. So

However i get the message on the page now "Your Duet rejected the HTTP request: page not found
Check that the SD card is mounted and has the correct files in its /www folder"

The SD card contains the same files as described on https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/SD_Card

I read from another post on the forum that this is a firmware mismatch error but theres no info on how to fix that.

@tia79 now it’s a SD card reading issue. Did you reformat the card? Don’t use Windows quick format, use the proper tool. What file did you decompress into the www folder? Post an image of the SD card contents, if possible. The matching version of DWC for RRF v2.03 you have installed is DuetWebControl-1.22.6.zip from here: https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.03

@droftarts No it doesn't.

It doesn't even connect to my wifi. I installed the Web Interfacing matching the firmware but now it doesn't even connect to wifi.

can you try a different sd card.
make sure its fat formated

@tia79 did you format the SD card with the formatting tool from https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/index.html ? If it’s not the one supplied with Duet, what make, model and speed is it? Or post picture.

@droftarts It is the original Duet sd card. I got the page up again but its giving me "Your Duet rejected the HTTP request: page not found
Check that the SD card is mounted and has the correct files in its /www folder" even tho the content on the card is correct.

@tia79 how did you enable networking? By sending M552 S1 via USB? If so, the network is not being enabled because the config.g file is not being read. This will be because either the SD card isn’t working in the Duet, or the Duet SD card socket is faulty. With the information you have supplied, I don’t know which it is. So:

Format the SD card with the SD card formatting tool, copy configuration and www files on to the SD card and try again.
If that doesn’t work, inspect the SD card socket as described here: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/SD_Card#Section_SD_Card_Socket
If the socket looks like the one in the picture, take a picture of yours and post it here, and we’ll work out if you need a warranty replacement.

I give up trying to fix this.

Do you have some compressed air to blow off the board and the slot? It's possible there is some dirt and debris in there blocking the SD card contacts.
