Duet 3 6HC Wifi?

Hi *,
Lets pretend I do know what I do and that I want to build a complete nonsense printer.
The idea was to follow DC42s "guide" https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/14441/higher-input-voltages-for-steppers and drive the steppers with the highest possible voltage. It's clear that I would need a Duet 3 6HC because of the drivers.
Is there a very good way put a wifi interface to the 6HC? Or will I end up with a Wifi to Ethernet converter?
(No I do not want to have a raspberry, I hate the boot time.)Cheers, Chriss

the firmware for that board doesn't have anything in to allow wifi to be connected -
Thanks..... I will think about that.. the WiFi bridges I had in the past where not the most stable things I have seen so far. And they need startup time, too. The duet must wait than for the wifi connection before it can ask the DHCP bla bla... that will be a mess of a setup than.

An alternative is to use powerline adapters. Just fit one near your router to feed the system, then another at the printer.
You get the best of both worlds; no massive Ethernet cabling installations, with the reliability of a hard-wired connection and with no interference to or from other systems.

@rjenkinsgb I had some powerline adapters in the past here in the house. That was not a huge success to be honest. I do not know ho many fuses I have here in my office, I found 3 so far. That, and some other funny installations here dropped the speed down to 7Mbit in the same room.
Well, that should/can be enough for the DWC and a bit of g-code uploading. ... Some hardware is still left, I will think about that...Cheers, Chriss

I'd try something else. I bought that product and used it with my Duet3. However, quite frequently, the duet would act as if it had no network connectivity at all and I'd have to reboot the duet to get it to "see" the bridge again.
When I bridge with a RaspPi instead, I have no problem whatsoever.
Perhaps I just got a flaky bridge, or perhaps there's some odd interaction between that bridge and the duet board. No idea, but the problem was annoying enough that if I buy another bridge, it won't be that device.

@garyd9 Thanks for the heads up. I would have suggested a raspberry pi as a bridge in the first place, but they said specifically no raspberry pi.
