that was a quick, thanks. I've got to confess not a 3d printer nerd, so writing code might be beyond my level. That said appreciate if you could send what you have, thanks much appreciated, regards tony

              Hello

Had to go to work this morning, so just thought I would acknowledge your much appreciated efforts,
I will get on with using the driver package you sent via email and have downloaded the latest cura version, in an effort to increase my knowledge in this field.
Anyway thanks again for taking the time, if you have any further information that may help my basic attempts to understand g-code that would also be appreciated. Kind regards Tony

                    Hello,

Maybe I am to late to join this conversation, but i got exactly the same issue as @tony.
Is it for me also possible to get the st3di driver or the word document so i can slide it in Cura, (or both ;D)?
That would be very helpfull for me. Thanks in advance.

                    Regards Hulsie3216

Worked perfect thank you for that your a life saver
My next question as these sealed spools of filament are no longer made I do have a full one but do u rekon I should make a spool holder and trick the machine because I have tons of standard pla and abs plastic on spools and I would rather use them because I can replace them fairly easily or would the st3di think something is wrong I'm not sure how smart this machine actually is tbh I'm not sure if u managed to use other rolls of filament and if so how

@danwilliams94 I just used to leave on of the spools on and then feed in any of the other filaments I wanted to use. That was before I swapped out to the Duet

Hopefully this word doc has the config files in. The principles should still be true.

                                            https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T86iTxZwGsj3nLFBjzRinjlMTsEoz19Z/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=116402951384827293733&rtpof=true&sd=true

I'd move to Cura or Prusaslicer rather than use the old ST3DI slicer if you can.

The pla@**** is what is telling the printer how much filament you have used from their spools.
