beta 3.5b2 no wifi re connection after emergency stop
-
@T3P3Tony i would do this but for some reason i can no longer get the com port to work
can i use M929 to log the info required?
-
@T3P3Tony
eventlog.txt logfile if you look at the logfile i hit the "emergency stop" button in DWC after the "homez.g" -
@moth4017 that shows the WiFi module starting and reconnecting
-
@T3P3Tony the resart was me pushing the reset button on the duet 3mini5 so I could get access to the log file via DWC , I could just pull the SD card and get the data with out a restart
-
Data from SD card after the "Please stand by...." message ion DWC
in the log file "emergency stop" in DWC was pressed during the home z.g macro
eventlog1.txt -
I am very happy with 3.5b2 so far, but suddenly, I've realized that I have the same issue on the mini5 Ethernet. I have to reboot the board to reconnect DWC.
I'll do some more tests later tonight if I have a chance.

@terabyte
Hi , i have lost my usb connection but could you see if you can do what Tony suggestedIf possible can you connect a USB cable and see if you can reproduce it, then send M552 and M122 over USB and report the results here.
-
I can also confirm this is a problem for me as well. I am using a 6HC with SBC. I have to power cycle the whole machine to get it through the issue. Simply rebooting the Pi4 will not solve the problem.
Here is an M122 after reboot.

Same here. After Emergency stop, DWC stuck in please wait. Presing reset buton on 6HC bring machine back to life.
6HC + 1LC, SBC.
-
if you refresh the browser you still get the "Please stand by "........ message , i still carnt get my USB to connect so i carnt grab the data.
-
Also i have noticed that i cannot connect to the printer, if the printer is on before the PC which i use to connect to the printer . pressing the reset button on the printer then gets a connection .
-
ive also tried this on a stm board running 3.5b2 same issue if you press "emergency stop" in DWC you get the "Please stand by "........ message untill you reset the control board.
