@t3p3tony - The day before yesterday, the new ordered parts arrived. In the meantime, I made a completely new wiring to the MFM, re-soldered the connector (for safety) and the problem persisted.

After replacing the MFM control board, everything works without problems. Already the second 20h print and not a single fake filament alarm.

@charliedrums - I use Rpi5 with 8Gb and it works perfectly. But I recommend throwing away the SD card and going the SSD route. It works absolutely sensationally. Compared to Rpi4 + SD card, the system boot is many times faster.

Two things happened after I uploaded 3.4.0 beta4 today. Previously with beta3 okay.

My config duet3 6HC + 1LC, SBC Pi4

1. When upgrading, the terminal asks if you want to upgrade the tool board. YES. It went without a error. But after the reboot when I check the M122 b121 the version was still the original (beta3). M997 B121 and then everything is OK.

2. after about 2 hours of printing, my filament was jamed (90% GCODE done). Magnetic sensor paused print, no problem. I corrected the error on the spool, moved the filament back and forth a few times and pressed the resume. The extruder moved to the place where printing was interrupted and nothing happened for about 5 seconds. Then the printer decided to make it home again, and it looked like GCODE had started from begin. Unfortunately, I couldn't research it anymore because I had to use the emergence button to avoid big crash.

I will try to repeat it and document more.

@t3p3tony - I use them for load and unload filament.

@dc42 - problem solved. Thanks for help.

@fcwilt - For me is diference LCD. I have hdmi touch lcd on Pi. Whithout SBC i dont have lcd. I can install clear rasbian on Pi and use it just for Duet web but it is not clear solution for me. Maybe in ver 3.4 will M600 work. I can not try beta for now. I need print some parts.

@T3P3Tony - I have a little update on that. There were enough parts to print and of course I ran out of filament. In the meantime, I received the new 6HC v1.02. I upgraded from v1.01 28V supply voltage to 45V. The filament arrived and I continued printing. The error no longer appeared. I have no idea how much difference there is in the FW for version 1.01 and 1.02, but maybe it will help you in your search.

The problem was in the power supply. But in the 5V power supply for RPi and 6HC. Although it was 5v 6A so it must have been bad somehow. After replacing it, my timeouts are still 0 and no other CLICKs or other problems happen.

In short, when @dc42 assumes something, it is usually right.

It seems that replacing the CAN cable solved the problem. It's strange but after about 30 hours of printing the problem did not appear. So please close this topic. Thanks for your help.

@dc42 - power look stable. Without any flickering or voltage drops. 45V continuously. I checked the cable connections, fuses. I didn't find anything interesting.

I use 350W 48V power supply. I reduced the voltage to 45V with a potentiometer (just to be safe). The power supply is only used only to power 6HC (X,Y,4xZ). The heated pad is 230V.

It is true that every "CLICK" that is heard will add at least one timeout. What does that number actually mean? I will check the power supply, I would also like to look with an oscilloscope to see if there is any obvious problem.

It seems to me that the problem occurs significantly less (so far not) when I removed Zhop in GCode. So the Z motors have to work significantly less.

Any news?

Yesterday I ordered a new 6HC from filafarm for another printer. So I will be able to test if it is not a fault in the mainboard. However, I still think it's more of a FW problem....

@omtek - Same here. With SBC. I temporarily copied the URL into the clickable line. So when I click it, a new window opens. That works.

@dc42 - It happend again. Only 2 of the 4 Z steppers were moving. Unfortunately, even with active logging, no message was displayed. This is starting to be quite a problem for me. Any ideas?

I update to 3.6.0 RC1 AND change CAN cable between 6HC and 1LC. I think I read somewhere that beta.4 had a problem with the combination of SBC and console error reporting.

So I update to 3.6.0 RC1 and start long print. I can say, number of driver timeouts is significantly smaller. Actual 7 after 12hours of print. I'll see what happens after a few prints.
