To help fund my new printer build, I have some items that are surplus to requirements that I'd like to sell. These were not donated by Duet but paid for fully by me so I don't feel bad about selling them. I had thought about keeping them for a sand table or another printer but that's not likely to happen, and I need the cash so.....

The items are one Duet 2 Ethernet. One Duex 5 expansion board compatible with the above, and one 5inch Panel Due. They all came off my printer when I changed to gen 3 hardware and were in full working order at that time (but of course the firmware will need updating to the latest).

I'm looking for offers around half price so something around £80 for the Duet Ethernet, £50 for the Duex 5 and £40 for the Panel Due. At those prices, I'd pay the postage to anywhere in mainland UK. But everything is negotiable. PM me please if you are interested.

This is a shameless bump in case anyone missed it. The Panel Due is sold but I still have the Duet 2 main board and Duex 5 expansion board. Last chance before I put them on Ebay or consign them to the bin.

@deckingman I’m happy to pay for them if you find a suitable/deserving person/project for them?

@elmoret Tim, that's very kind and generous of you. What did you have in mind, some sort of charity or under-funded school/university or some such?

@T3P3Tony Tony, do you know of anything/anyone who would fit the bill?

@deckingman Could be an individual too, just anyone that had a notable use for them that you found interesting/beneficial.

@elmoret How about for my CNC guitar pickup winder. I was going to use parts from my Tarantula but I donated it to our local High School. They have had it since the beginning of the school year and still haven't done anything with it.

@elmoret Maybe it would help @deckingman the most, when you buy it now and look for a way to donate it later.
A discussion about "who's worth it" only wastes time.

I'd like to see it going to someone who's planning to make use of RRF3.5 dual gcode stream feature and helps the devs by building another testrig. (which often requires a lot of stepper drivers)

@o_lampe the duet 2 doesn't support multiple streams unfortunately

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@jay_s_uk Is that final? I thought the devs were still looking to fit it in a Duet2 by skipping rarely used kinematics and other stuff?

                            @mesacrash Its up to @deckingman , not me! 🙂

@o_lampe I mean sure if it ends up taking a while, but its only been a couple days now since the offer. I'm sure @deckingman isn't in THAT big a hurry...

Calm down guys - I'm working on it. I've managed to raise enough cash to buy some aluminium stock so I'll be busy machining parts for a couple of weeks or so.

@elmoret Tim - would a local maker space count? An acquaintance of mine knows the guy who runs one in Milton Keynes which is about 20 miles away from where I live. Apparently they do have some sort of 3D printer so they might be interested. I'm not sure how these things work though and whether a maker space would fit your criteria of "suitable/deserving".

Thanks to the generosity of @elmoret, these items are no longer for sale.

@elmoret Tim. Thank you so much for the PayPal donation. Rest assured that one way or another, I will ensure that they are donated to a suitably deserving cause or person.
