For me, Z-Babystepping only becomes active when a job is running. Can I also activate this before a job runs?

@axiom depends if Z is homed or not. Can't babystep an unhomed one

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@axiom do you mean on PanelDue? That has been changed in the most recent PD release. Babystepping is available at all times in DWC, after homing.

@droftarts I guess I have to do an update... the documentation says that the update via Duet only works for version 7i, I have a 7: https://www.cr3d.de/produkt/paneldue-7-zoll/ Does that mean I can't update via the Duet interface?

@droftarts my PanelDue has no USP connection as described in the documentation, how can I update it?

@axiom That looks like a Duet3D 7i. You can update it from DWC if your Duet is running RepRapFirmware version 3.2 or later, and you have a V3/5i/7i PanelDue running firmware 3.2.2 or later. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_PanelDue

Edit: Also, you'll want to use the latest PanelDue beta firmware, or wait (hopefully a couple of weeks) for the full 3.5 release. Get it from https://github.com/Duet3D/PanelDueFirmware/releases/tag/3.5.0-rc6

@droftarts Version 1.24 is currently on my PanelDue 7. Duet Web Control 3.4.5 is running on the printer....is that still possible with the PanelDue or do I have to take an intermediate step?
