      Hardware Used
      Duet3 Mini 5+
      2 1HCL boards

      All working properly

Added the Scanning Probe and cant get it to connect to can.

      trouble Shooting already done
-Set the delay in the config as directed
-Added the code for the probe from the docs
-Checked that everything is updated to 3.5.1
-Plugged the SZP board directly into the Duet 3 rather than off the second 1HCL board
-Hit the reset button on the board
-checked continuity from the plug at the Duet3 all the way to the pads on the back of the SZP High and Low both good
-Checked it with and without the coil connected.

At this point I believe I have a defective board. does anyone have any ideas on what else I could try?

@pogo1213 config.g and the output of M122 might help gauge current situation better

@pogo1213 are you providing 5V power to the probe board? What activity do the red and green LEDs on the scanning probe board show?

@pogo1213 where is your CAN bus termination? If it is the last, or only, board on the CAN bus, it should be terminated, and termination on other expansion boards should be removed. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_3_family/Duet_3_Scanning_Z_Probe#terminating-resistor

@droftarts It is the last board and is terminated.

@dc42 The red status light is blinking rapidly like it hasnt synced with the CAN.

Also yes there 5v supplied, I04 5v and ground are being used.

@oliof I can provide config shortly but shouldnt affect the initial connection of CAN (especially if other can devices are connecting just fine) and M122 of the board shows time out/ no connection.

@pogo1213 Can you post a picture of your setup, ideally with all the boards and the wiring showing? How is the SZP powered?

Checked that everything is updated to 3.5.1

Please update to 3.5.2. Also, to force a firmware update (make sure the SZP firmware binary is in the /firmware folder), power the system up while holding the 'CAN RESET' button down.
