Solved Bad Paneldue 5i
-
So I just finished building yet another printer. It used to me a Makergear M2. I've converted it over to a Makergear M3ID using two E3D Roto toolheads running from a Duet 3 mini 5 and two Roto Toolboards and a Paneldue 5i. I've just completed the configuration using the RRF Configuration Tool and installed everything. When I turned on the machine, the Paneldue just went white. I've tried to update it but I get a "Response to long, see console" error. I reverified that the cables are correct and seated well. When I touch it, it just flickers. I've reset it and got it to go to the "touch the spot" mode. Same thing, its just flickers and goes back to touch the spot.
I'm certain I have it connected correctly but photos are attached. Here is my config IOT verify that isn't the issue. I'm sure its riddled with other errors. I haven't gone through it yet and/or the commissioning process. Feel free to call out anything you see though!

If I am forgetting something, I am sorry. Feel free to ask for any additional info you may need to help me resolve this. I really think I have a bad paneldue. I've designed and built four machines and this is the first time I've had an issue such as this. TYIA for your help.

@SonnyD1 it could be a bad PanelDue or it could be that it's not getting reliable power. Does it work properly if you provide power to it via its USB connector?
-
@SonnyD1 said in Bad Paneldue 5i:
"Response to long, see console"
And what was the full response shown in the console?
-
@SonnyD1 does it work better when you loosen the bolts of the paneldue enclosure a bit?
