RE: Input Shaping
@jay_s_uk Apparently that was the issue. I bought a USB 3.0 cable and made it up and now its working. Don't know what to do with that data yet but thats a different issue. I'm making progress thanks to the help. Thank you.

RE: IDEX U Axis calibration
@droftarts adding a code example for the G10 showing the offsets and explaining how one get them. I’m any case, I’m complete I think.

RE: I am at a loss
@Phaedrux so that was one thing I just figured out. I unplugged one motor and homed Y. I repeated this for each motor and discovered how the obvious escapes me sometimes. The motors are mirrored so obviously one would be backwards. Fixed that now moving on. Still trying to get a complete homing cycle. Thank you very much for the reply.

RE: WIFI Antenna Mounting
@Phaedrux Yes I found it. I had two wires swapped on the U axis endstop. Thank you very much. I'm still not up and running but its progress. WIFI Module fires right up now.

RE: Warning: Driver 1 warning: over temperature warning
@moth4017 so I lowered it to 1900. Repeated the G32 that was triggering the error and it completed this time. I'm pretty sure that will be enough current. If not, now I know I will have to add additional cooling to the boards. I may end up doing that anyway. Thank you for the help but I think you've solved my issue for now.

RE: Warning: Driver 1 warning: over temperature warning
@Phaedrux Ok so my board is mounted horizontally with 10mm of air on the bottom side. I am going to raise that amount as much as I can and add a 24v blower wired to "Always on" that will blow across the bottom of the board on the drivers. Also, I turned down the current to 65%. I don't plan on speed printing with this printer so I will run some tests to see if that's enough. Based on your advice these items will resolve my issue. It will take some time to complete the hardware adjustments so for now I will consider this issue solved until I can run some additional tests. That is, unless you disagree?

RE: IDEX U Axis calibration
@droftarts ; Tools
M563 P0 D0 H1 F0 ; define tool 0 that used low end X carriage
G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z0 ; set tool 0 axis offsets
G10 P0 R0 S0 ; set initial tool 0 active and standby temperatures to 0C
M563 P1 D1 H2 F2 X3 ; define tool 1 that used high end U carriage
G10 P1 X0 Y1.6 Z.34 ; set tool 1 axis offsets
G10 P1 R0 S0 ; set initial tool 1 active and standby temperatures to 0C -
RE: Standby Temperature
@Phaedrux Yup that fixed it. So my M568 lines now read as:
M568 P0 S{first_layer_temperature[0]} R{first_layer_temperature[0] -15} A2 ; set E0 active/standby temp
M568 P1 S{first_layer_temperature[0]} R{first_layer_temperature[0] -15} A1 ; set E1 active/standby tempThank you for your help everyone. I'm still having other issues with my startup code but I will address those in another post. I don't want to flood this post. I consider this particular issue resolved.

@dc42 Ok...Thank you very much. I'm sure I'll need your help again when I start to configure this thing.

RE: Duet 3 Mini 5 to Duet 3 Toolboard
Its right under the image you posted. You have to select the correct board for it to display. It looks to me that latest board version has a resistor built in. It looks to me, and I'm obviously not an expert, that if I connect the white and the yellow wire, then solder this spot, it brings a resistor into the circuit. I'm really just looking for a second opinion to ensure I'm understanding it correctly.

RE: Duet 3 Mini 5 to Duet 3 Toolboard
@oliof Right. I read that. The directions say I have to solder the 120r CAN Bus Termination (little spot on the back of the toolboard). Am I understanding that correctly. I don't want to solder something I shouldn't and ruin the toolboard. This is my first toolboard and I want to be certain.

RE: Duet 3 Mini 5 to Duet 3 Toolboard
@oliof 5A is what I got. The fan is listed as .04 and the motor is 1.4. What about the soldering job? Do you know about that? Thank you.

Duet 3 Mini 5 to Duet 3 Toolboard
I am modifying another Lulzbot Workhorse. It'll be running a Hemera XS w/ a Duet 3 Toolboard from a Duet 3 Mini 5. I have a couple questions that I'd like clarification on from the documentation in regards to wiring IOT proceed safely. https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_3_family/Duet_3_Toolboard_1LC tells me to use an inline fuse. I purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081YGN8SP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . What size fuse do I need to purchase for a E3D Hemera XS? It tells me to "pick the lowest rated fuse appropriate for your heater and motor current draw." But I don't know it or where to find it.
Also, I was looking at how the toolboard is wired. I understand the +/- from the 24v power supply to the toolboard providing it power. However, I'd like some clarification on the wiring to the CAN FD. If I'm reading it correctly, red/black to the motherboard and white/yellow connected together. Then I have to solder the 120r CAN Bus Termination (little spot on the back of the toolboard). Am I understanding that correctly. I don't want to solder something I shouldn't and ruin the toolboard. This is my first toolboard and I want to be certain. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide. I'm sorry if I haven't provided enough necessary information. Please don't hesitate to ask for more if necessary.

RE: Duet 3 Tool Distribution Board
@T3P3Tony Ok outstanding. Thank you!

RE: Warning: Driver 1 warning: over temperature warning
@FlyingAspect Yes. I got a 75mm Blower and designed a duct to channel it straight to the back of the drivers. Eliminated the problem. Printer sounds like a jet taking off, but it's not bad. All electronics are underneath so it muffles it some.

Duet 3 Tool Distribution Board
Do I need a Duet 3 Tool Distribution board to run two Duet 3 Roto Toolboards from a Duet 3 Mini 5+? For an IDEX using two Rotos for example.

RE: SZP Coil Height
@dc42 will the heat from the bed/hot end be an issue? Will I have to stow it during a print? How much heat can it handle?

SZP Coil Height
I am building yet another IDEX printer utilizing two E3D Roto Toolheads with the Duet Roto board. I want to run the SZP coil but I have a couple questions that will help me complete the design. What height does the coil need to be from the bed when it runs its scan? I need to know this to design a mount. Also, can the coil withstand the heat from the bed? Do I still need a Z probe IOT establish Z offset or is the SZP a standalone unit capable of all my Z probing needs? Where is there some more documentation? I have read everything I can find and it's not much. I dont think this forum, as great as it is, should be the only source of info in the coil. Lastly, does the Roto tool board come with a coil? I'll stop there. Any info you can provide would be helpful. Sorry if I haven't provided enough info. Please ask if you need to know anything further. TYIA!
