I have run out of inputs on a couple of machines using Duet 3 Mini 5+ boards.

I only need to monitor a very few dry contact closures.

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks much.

@fcwilt use an Arduino and talk to the board over UART?

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@fcwilt one option is to use a SAMMYC21 development board over CAN.

how many more IOs do you need?

@T3P3Tony If you have analogue inputs free (or can free one up), you may be able to create a set of switches with some sort of resistor ladder that allows you to identify which switch is open/closed. How easy it would be to do this will depend on if more than one switch can be "active" at once.

I note the chip45 link on https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_3_family/Using_the_Sammy-C21_development_board_with_Duet_3 is broken - it should now be https://www.chip45.com/Microcontroller-Modules-Boards/Sammy-C21-ATSAM-Duet3D::4.html

                  Thanks for the feedback.

I was not aware of that device. It looks like a fine solution.
