      @jay_s_uk and all others 😉

      Hello,
I've now just ordered this board:
      Bildschirmfoto 2025-03-27 um 00.34.03.png

Can I simply connect the Fly-SHT36 Max V3 to my Duet 3 6HC, or do I need to flash some firmware first so that it's recognized by my Duet board?
Can you also tell me something about the settings for the LDC1612 (the Z scanner)? So, what scanner type do I need to select in the config.g file?

      Thank you for your help.

@CrazyCreator it needs flashing prior to fitting along with ensuring the dip switches are in the right position, all the info is here -

I use this board on a XOL toolhead, watch out for the ribbon connectors I found them quite tricky!

@CrazyCreator the scanner is the same as using the one attached to the Duet SZP and Duet Roto toolboard, so setup is the same
I've just started using touch probing in 3.6RC1 on my VzBoT using this exact toolboard

@jumpedwithbothfeet and @jay_s_uk Thank you for the answers, but just to be sure, I'll ask again:

Do I connect the SHT36 to my Duet3 6HC or Duet3 3HC via CAN and then install Duet3Firmware_SHT36MAX3.uf2 via DWC upload, or can I simply send M997 B124 via the console?

@CrazyCreator you would initially have to flash the firmware via USB and then connect to it via CAN. Subsequent updates are done by DWC. Info on the wiki that was linked to earlier

I've now connected the SHT to my Mac and have a normal USB drive there... I simply copy the Duet3Firmware_SHT36MAX3.uf2 to it and that's it?

Is it supposed to be that simple?

                    Wow... How cool is that?

Two blue lights glow continuously, the bottom one flashes. I think that's how it's supposed to be.
                    IMG_0705.png

Ok... Then I'll connect it and get back to you when it comes to the entries in the config.g.

@CrazyCreator that's correct. The light will flash fast until you connect to a mainboard. It'll then flash at the same speed as the mainboard

Mmm... Actually, everything looks fine; the SHT is displayed in the CAN Manager.
But M997 B124 reports an error.

@CrazyCreator if you've not loaded our firmware through DWC, M997 B124 will show an error.

Looks like its working fine though. That's good news!

@CrazyCreator no, theres no need to run M997 B124.
Next time you update, it'll do so automatically and it'll ask you to update.

M122 B124 will show you that all works well

This means, whenever there is a RRF update I have to update manually with your Duet3Firmware_SHT36MAX3.uf2 downloaded from github and uploaded then via the DWC?

So ... Now i have the first Question 😉

                                            ; TestFan - Zum testen des FAN Port's am Fly-SHT36 Max V3
                                            M950 F10 C"124.out13" Q500	; create fan 10 on pin gpio13 on Fly-SHT36 Max V3 Board and set its frequency
                                            M106 P10 C"TEST-Fan" H-1	; set fan 10 value. Thermostatic control is turned OFF

I wrote this in my config.g, but without success.
The FAN is connected to the GPIO13 FAN0
Is a 24V Fan and the jumper is setting on the VCC
