No, you need to update the PanelDue separately. Get the latest file from https://github.com/Duet3D/PanelDueFirmware/releases/latest. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_PanelDue for instructions.

last question to clarify my ideas, if the firmware version 3.0 is currently loaded, if I reload the firmware version 2.05.1 from web control does it reload or does it only accept later versions?

If you want do revert to 2.05.1, download the "Duet2Firmware-2.05.1.zip" from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.05.1, and upload it to the Duet without unzipping. This should revert the firmware and DWC.

The IAP file is the 'In App Programmer'; it is the program that updates the firmware, and needs to be accessible on the SD card. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware#required-files

Please send M122 and post the response, so I can see what firmware version you are currently running. If you can access DWC, please also look in the 'Settings > General' menu option, and post what version of DWC you are running.

I guess you are using RRF 3.0 or 3.1. The "Duet2CombinedIAP.bin" is specific to these versions. Download it from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.0 and put it in the /sys folder on the SD card.

With all firmware versions up to RRF v3.2.2, all firmware update files (including the IAP file) are stored in the ‘0:/sys/’ directory.
From RRF v3.3, to avoid too many files in this folder, all firmware update files are stored in ‘0:/firmware/’ directory.

Okay, that's fine. You need to upload "Duet2CombinedIAP.bin" from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.0 to the /sys folder on the SD card.

I suggest you update to 3.5.4, and we'll fix the configuration there. Download "Duet2and3Firmware-3.5.4.zip" from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.5.4 and upload the whole zip file (don't unzip it) to the Duet in DWC.

Then send M122 again, to check it is updated.

Ho caricato il file IAP nella cartella sys siè ricaricato il firmware 2.05.1 nei file di configurazione escono codici incomprensibili allego m122

in seguito al tuo consiglio ho lanciato il firmware 3.5.4 adesso non si collega al web control dice versione incompatibile

When you upgrade, you MUST go from 2.05.1 to 3.0 first. You can go from 3.0 to 3.5.4. But you cannot go from 2.05.1 to 3.5.4. I assumed you were on 3.0, and would update to 3.5.4.

Most likely, the firmware is still 2.05.1, but DWC is 3.5.4. So you need to go back to DWC 2.0.4. Download "DuetWebControl-SD-2.04.zip" from https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.0 and unzip. Replace the contents of the www folder on the SD card with the files and folders from the zip.

I suggest you pick a firmware version, either 2.05.1 or 3.5.4, and stick to it. I recommend 3.5.4. We can fix configuration errors.

Okay, great! Currently, your configuration is for firmware 2.05.1. We need to update this for v3.x.

From your post here https://forum.duet3d.com/post/354792, you had a configuration for 3.5.1 (versione 3.5.1.txt). This is close to the configuration you need. If you have the configtool.json file for this (created by the configuration tool), can you upload it please? I can adjust it for you to match your original RRF v2.x configuration.

Buongiorno, ho provato a settare la macchina con il configuratore 3.5 ho caricato il file zippato tramite interfaccia web, il bl touch funziona le temperature vengono gestite, la macchina non esegue la home.
Nei file system ci sono molte cose strane ti ivio i file

Here is an updated configuration: perfetto config.zip.txt
Download this, delete the ".txt" from the end, and unzip the .zip file. (The forum does not allow .zip files to be uploaded.)

I recommend you rename the existing 'sys' folder on the SD card to 'sys_old', and copy the contents of the .zip file above to a new 'sys' folder on the SD card.

The config.g is quite similar to your "versione 3.5.1.txt", but I have changed a lot of the values so they are the same as your "config.g funzionante 2020.txt". See the differences here: https://www.diffchecker.com/gZTQOoak/

After you restart the Duet, please follow the 'Commissioning' guide, to check everything is working, here: https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Commissioning
If anything is not working, let me know. Provide as much detail as possible.
