      If you post some photos of your wiring/setup, might be able to spot something.

      A possible cause is +24v getting into the heaterblock, and the heaterblock touching the IR sensor (which is on the 3.3v rail).

        As suggested post some photos. It is likely that there is a wiring error OR perhaps a short.

        Anything on the underside of the board that could have shorted something?

          I'm sorry to hear that your board has failed. Please post a photo of the damage so that I can identify which chip has failed.

              @fcwilt Hi There
              Here are the photos, hopefully you will be able to see if ive wired it wrong, but i think everything is correct. The board is also on 10mmplastic standoff son that nothing can short out the underneath.0_1536332333988_IMG_1634.JPG 0_1536332418386_IMG_1635.JPG 0_1536332487067_IMG_1636.JPG

                  Thanks. I don't think that failure was caused by your wiring. Please ask for your Duet to be replaced under warranty, referencing this thread. See https://www.duet3d.com/warranty.
