Hi Martin
I use a Dyze extruder Pro Kit
The extruder builder gives a retraction speed parameter between 25 and 35mm/s and a retraction distance between 0,5 and 2mm
My settings:
Retraction distance 1,4
retraction speed 35mm/s
I have an acceleration M201 800mm/s2... Maybe is too high?
The temperature looks very stableThose values looks just fine - normally when you go above 2.5mm retraction that clogging starts happening at retraction.
Can you hear stepper skipping steps when it happens, or does the nozzle just not extrude material at that point?

@martin1454
i send the print program last night and i wasn't near to the macchine in that moment.
i will clean the noozle using the cold pull procedure to exclude clogging.
i will keep you updated,i think that the clogging, can be the problem.
Thank you very much for your help -
Check the dimension of your filament. i had a filament where for a small section it went down to 1.6mm which causes artefacts.
also check that the slicer actualy has a layer there. i had curious results in cura where an entire layer was missing. the resulting print had similar artefacts like the red circles ones.

Chack your filament coming off the reel, I get those layers when the filament jams up on the reel.

Looks kind of like an underrun after a long travel move. How fast are you traveling?

HI @veti
I'll check the diameter of the material but at the moment i saw that in some cases i have diference of diameter with maximun +- 0.02mm.
If an entire layer missing, i think is a huge problem, i check the simulation and there are no missing layers.
I did a very thorough check and i saw that there is no less material, but looks like the layer was moved 0.3mm back in the Y axes and the next layer was ok -
Hi @phaedrux
In the positioning moving speed parameter i have 60000mm/s
but i have servomotors so the positioning must be perfect and the distance between the most distance points is relative short. -
Hi @stephen6309
Interesting, i'm using a 30 euro/Kg material, is not the most espensive material but i think is not cheap so i hope that the spool doesn't have this kind of problems, i'll chek that .
I saw that the extruder that i'm using ( Dyze Extruder) had a high pushing force (9kg) with their traction system so i think that is enough to pull the filament if it jams up on the reel -
I get this sort of stuff when I enable pressure advance and I too have a setup with a rather large pushing force and just about moderate retraction. What are your extruder steps/mm and PA, if any?
If you print the same gcode twice, do you get the lines at exactly the same spot?
-
I disactivate the pressure advance because i had problems after i change the extruder.
this part is too big to do it twice
when i'll have the same problem with a little part, i will do the test.
Thanks
