Duet 3 or Raspberry Pi for Display - Noob question

I'm really sorry, but I'm just trying to make sure I order all of the right stuff. I have a Duet 3 on order, and already have an RPi 4.
So which device do I get the touch screen display for, the Duet or RPi? Do I get the Duet 3 touch screen, or use the RPi 7" touch screen? (If you can use either, which is preferred?)
Also, it is my understanding that the Raspberry Pi gets powered via the ribbon cable to the Duet 3. Is this the case? I don't need a separate 3A 5V supply for the RPi?
Is there someplace I can get the ribbon cable, as I don't see it anyplace?

@guitartoys For the PI 4, you need a separate power supply. The Duet 3 6HC can't supply enough current.
I use a 7" Paneldue. I tried out the 7" PI touchscreen, DWC requires scrolling around to see everything on it. For me, the paneldue is easier to use.
The ribbon cable comes with the Duet 3 6HC.

Thank you very much. Glad to hear the ribbon cable comes with the Duet. Guess I need to order a Paneldue.
At this point, I think I'm going to wait for some of my parts to come in, to see what else I need, as I know I will be needing connectors and wires to connect the steppers amongst other things.

@guitartoys The Duet 3 6HC comes with the connectors to put on the wires.

The PanelDue makes for a great printer control panel for doing actual printing related stuff like moving axis and extruding and running macros, but you'll need a full PC for the web interface.
The Pi touch screen is basically the full web interface right there. Though you'd still want a keyboard and mouse to do anything like typing macros and getting setup.
Once the printer is setup you might not need the full web interface very often since you can send the gcode files straight to the printer from the slicer and control the basics from the paneldue.
It's a toss up. Personally I think the PanelDue is better for an at the printer control panel and a full PC for the DWC for more complex stuff.

if you have an existing duet, you could try viewing dwc in chrome using the developer tools for the resolution of the display you'd consider to give you an idea.
f12 to turn on the developer tools, and ctrl+shift+m to enable the device toolbar if i recall correctly.

It's fully configurable and is displayed in a browser on the Pi. It's what I use on my Pi 7" TFT and allows me to conveniently use the Pi for other things. To be sure the choice is somewhat a personal preference.
