How much to build an IDEX printer?

I’d like to try build my own printer and live the premise of an idex. I have a Duet 2 wifi. How much would you budget for something with a 300x300x300 or so area?

There is an IDEX kit for the Ender 3 which is working pretty decentl (enderidex.com). It works like the Ender 3: Decent for the price, but I wouldn't compare it with the 4 figure models on the market.
