Filafarm doesn't sell threaded heatsink anymore?
-
My extruder designs are wrapped around the threaded heatsink from the SmartEffector, but on the Filafarm.de site they don't offer E3D-brands anymore. It's also not listed as Duet3D sparepart.
Instead they claim their own microV6 hotend to fit the Smarteffector. -
They are still readily available, it's the standard threaded heatsink for the E3D V6.
E3D have hundreds in stock and many other suppliers have them.

Surely if a threaded heatsink comes with a nut (as they usually do) the thread pitch doesnt matter.
Ships with M12 nut, thermal paste and collet with clip
above taken from the e3d listing.
Totally agree if you are fitting it into a hole but if your mount has the thread integrated then it makes a huge difference.

@rjenkinsgb
I found them in Germany too from dold-mechatronic. The point is, that Filafarm tries to push us to buy their incompatlible stuff -

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that E3D started out using 1mm pitch thread for those, then changed to 1.5mm, so any 1mm ones were possibly just old stock?
M12 x 1.5 is an industry standard thread for electrical conduit fittings, so possibly easier to get compatible parts for than the M12x1mm ?

Actually the very first version had a M12x1.75 thread then the Duet one became a M12x1.25 thread but the E3D own ones are M12x1.5 as you say and is a std Conduit size where Plastic nuts are plentiful the Duet version uses a M12 Fine thin nut.
