      Hi All,

      Thanks for your ongoing help with my other bits and bobs, am in and out of the studio and fixing things as I go along (my M2 with new heated bed is printing amazing now, thanks to your help). I'll be sorting the z bounce on that soon...

      Am also looking at putting a 240v 500x500 heated bed on son.im/fusedeep ;

      https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265630777458?var=565417555684&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338723872&toolid=20006&customid=9aO7YD4PAAAAaXsymfulVeHYdqwdAAAAAA

      ...and wondered if my duet2 wifi board already has this capability or can do that or do i need one of the breakout boards?

        @fusedeep, you would run that heat pad via an SCR. The SCR is activated with your Duet heat bed output.

          @jens55 It's called an SSR (Solid state relay)

            @fusedeep What you want is an SSR and my advice buy a quality heater and SSR, from the likes on Keenovo. I wouldn't trust an eBay product for this.

              In addition to a quality SSR you also want a thermal fuse and start thinking about grounding everything more seriously. AC is no joke.

                  Thanks everyone, I have emailed keenovo and will see what they come back with.

                  Is there a wiki page showing how to use the duet to trigger a SSR and also control temperature?

                  Thanks Richard
