motor not moving
-
@Phaedrux nvm it's all working, it's just that the ip adress changed
-
@Phaedrux im pretty sure the driver is the problem, bc from what we tested before deleting the firmware, the mainboard was sending signals but not the driver
-
@zecreton said in motor not moving:
@droftarts you think it could be the motor? i have another motor i could try it with
So we're back to here then?
-
@Phaedrux yea, but i already tried another motor but not the driver
-
@Phaedrux i tried another driver, it still doesn't work
-
Can you be more detailed on what you've actually changed?
-
@Phaedrux i had another driver that is smaller and goes with a smaller motor, so i changed both but kept the same wires
-
Please more detail than that. When you changed drivers, did you change the config.g to map the axis to the other driver? Did you alter the motor current to match the driver? Photos of your wiring?
The more detail you provide the better chance we have of understanding what is going wrong.

@Phaedrux i didn't change the config.g file and i didn't change the motor current and idk how to do that

Sorry I forgot you were working with external drivers here.
As this thread has grown to nearly 100 posts and has involved several issues, I think it may be best if you can create a new thread with a detailed restatement of your current issue. Please include the basic details of your setup and the hardware used. Please include your config.g as well.
