    • RE: Large files uploading fail

      Dear @jay_s_uk ,
I did as you said, just replaced the Sandisk with good old Toshiba 8gb class 4 and uploaded the 140mb file.
Worked without any issue, case closed, THANK YOU very much 🙂
      I'll invest in new cards.

SD card 0 detected, interface speed: 25.0MBytes/sec
SD card longest read time 1.3ms, write time 43.3ms, max retries 0

    • DWC 3.5.0 gcode uploading via LAN error

      Hello,

      my problem from topic
      https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/33289/dwc-3-4-5-gcode-uploading-via-lan-error?_=1713871501456
      remain unsolved.

I just can't upload file bigger than 20mb via LAN to my DUET 6HC.
For DUET 2 1.21 via LAN we don't have any problem.
Via any wifi connection its perfect anywhere.
We have dozen machines on DUET 6HC, now with firmware 3.5.0-rc.3.
Even without router and switches, just PC connected via LAN to Duet 6hc, the problem occures.
I thought maybe its my win10, so I reinstalled the system to win11 and still nothing.
Its not the SD card problem, I've tried another ones, ultra fast, formatted in many ways and its still nothing.
If I change the speed of LAN in network card (in card properties) for ex. 10Mb/s, it works.

Last time I provided wireshark report, without any progress.

The problem exist on 3x PC win10 and win11 and also on Linux mint.
It does not occur on any OS connected via Wifi.

HOWEVER - if I install new win11 on another HDD (same PC), files uploads without issue.

      Any ideas?

      Best Regards,
      Paul

    • RE: DWC 3.4.5 gcode uploading via LAN error

@Phaedrux I did it and there is still no change. I think it is on the side of our network, perhaps router.
However on the 3.4.6 the computer with Win7 couldn't even start the upload, it was just freezing on 0%.
The 3.5 RC1 works perfectly on Win7 comp, thank you 🙂

I also get "Error in start-up file macro line 47: Response timeout: CAN addr 121 req type 6057, RID=5" on few occasions, but TB works fine.

      @Phaedrux

      thanks for a quick answer
The error message is "Could not complete action because the connection has been terminated"
Im not familiar with WS, but after a quick look at tutorials, I manage to export filtered package.
It's 32MB so I've put it on external server : LINK

    • DWC 3.4.5 gcode uploading via LAN error

      Hello,

once again I have encoutered simmilar obstacle.

I have several machines on Duet 6HC, running firmware 3.4.5 (2022-11-30), and they were working perfectly until few days ago.
They are connected via LAN, through a router and 3 switches.
When I try to upload a gcode (20-170MB large) it loses connection and tries to reconnect.
This happens on all our machines.
We tried diffrent browsers (Firefox, Brave) and 3 diffrent computers (Win10, Mint and Win7).
On Win7 via wifi 2.4gh it works completly normally and fine.
Just via LAN, I can't upload any gcode. It seems like a software / network issue.
Please find one of my M122 below, but I don't think it could be of any help...

I know my sd card could be faster, but... it just worked fine a few days ago?

    • Large files uploading fail

      Hello,
I have a problem with uploading files to my Duet 3 6hc.

Im uploading some large files (50-400mb) and every time after 40-70% done Duet is trying to reconnect, failing my upload.
Also the upload via LAN is quite slow, around 400kb/s. There is no Wifi, only cables 🙂

However, I have few machines built on Duet 3 6hc, and the problem exist only on the newly connected ones.
The one connected a year ago never had such issue. The firmware versions are the same, switch is the same.

On the other hand, its less occuring on the second PC (still, but less often!). Its a mistery for me 🙂

Please take a look at my M122
