alright after re calibrating 5 times it is now finally working. Not sure why it took that many tries as nothing different but its working now. Other than new issue that cropped up but that is in a new thread
@infiniteloop I agree. Bltouch sounds great on paper but the headache they are to put together and just to get working correctly doesn't justify in my opinion. My second printer I'll be looking at doing something different than BLTouch and will look at this design.
To verify that my prints actually use bed compensation I stick an adhesive tape 'flag' to the top of the Z screw and verify that it turns slightly during x/y movements of the print.
Your bed looks very flat and level but you can play with the screws to have larger error and make the Z flag movements more visible.
The problem is that the name of your GCode file contains space characters, and the current stable firmware omits the quote characters around the filename in the M23 command. This is fixed in the most recent beta. Meanwhile, if you edit the resurrect.g file inserting double quote marks around the filename, you will be able to resume it.
