I'm using ideamaker for slicing for years now, Lately, I built a large 3D printer with a 0.8mm nozzle. I have noticed that the perimeters are not completely closed, this is because of the filament is extruded late at the beginning of the perimeter.

My question is, is there a setting in ideamaker to let the extruder extrude earlier before the start of a perimeter? this way I can a closed perimeter.

I have PanelDue 7i connected to Duet 2 wifi board on my 3D printer. Everything is working fine, but when I start a print that will take one day or so, PanelDue stops responding after an hour or so and it doesn't even refresh the nozzle and bed temperature. I can still navigate through the tabs and pages on PanelDue.
I believe the communication between the board and Paneldue has been lost while 3d printing is still going fine. Even DWC does not respond at that time.
I'm wondering what is the issue here.

I will try connecting them to E0 and E1endstops and add the below lines in config.g file.

M591 P2 C"e0stop" S1 D0 ;filament monitor connected to E0 endstop
M591 P2 C"e1stop" S1 D1 ;filament monitor connected to E1 endstop

I have a dual extruder custom 3D printer that uses the Duet Wifi board, I will install 2 optical filament sensors, one for each extruder. My question is, where do I connect the optical sensors on the Duet wifi board? And what code should I include in the config.g file?

I'm building a large 3D printer and I need to drive 4 z-axis Lead screws using 4 nema-17 stepper motors.
I'm planning to use 4 external drivers for the motors. My question is, where do I get the z-axis STEP/DIR/EN signals on a duet wifi board?

I tried connecting to 5v, still same problem, no flashing on start.

Since it's a clone, now I believe it's faulty.

I purchased 4 IR sensor boards from Ali express.com, I connected the sensor board to duet wifi to probe a glass bed. The LED on the sensor board does not flash when I apply power to duet board. I checked the connection many times and they are ok. The sensor is showing a reading between 320-330 on the Duet Web Control, and the reading doesn't change when the sensor gets closer to the bed. I tried all 4 sensor boards, all of them have the same behavior.
Any idea what is the issue?
