In which line i turn it off?

I have an cartesian printer supplied by 24v with 2A 9kg/cm motors. But it seems that the duet will not recognise losing steps while printing. No matter in which situation (fast or low). Is it really enabled ? the last line in start code is M915 X Y S5 R3

Think I got creative&lazy with just downloading make and putting it in the same path as the cross compiler though, as I couldn't get it to work with the internal as suggested. (possibly v2.11 from here)

Which firmware version are you using?

Are your X and Y motors at the min or the max end of the axis? It makes a difference, because when the motor is pulling the carriage towards it and the carriage hits a hard stop, the length of belt between the motor and the carriage is short. This makes for a harder stall, which is easier to detect.

Have you tried adjusting the stall threshold (M915) as well as the motor current (M913)?

Stall detection doesn't work at low speeds where the full steps/sec rate is lower than the M915 H parameter.
