@OwenD All firmware the latest and greatest. I'm wondering about M292 in conjunction with M291. The dictionary seems to indicate that that PanelDue "may" be able to acknowledge blocking M291 messages. It is somewhat unclear in my mind and I've been unable to get any combination of M291/M292 to work.
It would be helpful for an example or two to have been included.

RE: Echo M291 on PanelDue
Macro is invoked from the print file when a filament change is requested. The fil change and purge (Macro-line 21) routine is manual at the printer. Line 23 instructs a trip back to the computer to resume as instructed on line 24.
Two ~20 ft trips printer/computer back and forth required presently. It would really be of help if the resume commands could be done at the printer panel.COLOR.png](/assets/uploads/files/1689879039441-color.png)

@Phaedrux I'm running RRF 3.5.0 B4 and 3.4.1 on the panel.

Echo M291 on PanelDue
I would like to see and acknowledge the M291 (truncated ok) message on Panel Due. Now I need travel back and forth between the printer and the computer in order to complete my semi-automated manual filament swaps. Any sneaky way to do this?

RE: Max file count error
@Ethelred
Flashed an updated PanelDue binary and all is well - gadzooks, the previous version was pre-historic.
Thanks to all for the help. -
RE: Max file count error
@Phaedrux said in Max file count error:
M98 P"config.g"
PanelDue 1.22.1 (28b1)
M98 P - error flash on both PanelDue and on DWC console screen -
RE: Max file count error
@jay_s_uk No daemon.g present - config.g below.
Perhaps interesting is that the error message appears on PanelDue only but not on the DWC console window.

Max file count error
I'm getting a "max open file count" error message displays on PanelDue upon system bootup. Supposedly V3.5.0-b4 permits 20 open files. I have only 13 macros total with no nesting. I see no ill effects - printing perfectly. Duet-2 board.

RE: [3.5b1+ (ArrayElementSet)] Error: Max open file count exceeded
@dc42 I'm getting the "Max Open Files Exceeded" alert upon system startup. Duet-2 board running 3.50-b4. This seems to be new unless I've just never noticed it before. I have a total of 16 macros.
Doesn't seem to have any operational impact. -
RE: Help with DC motor configure
@dc42 David - Still struggling - see photo connected to pin1 5v and pin 13. Stays high dispite my efforts with M42 ......
The config entries are
; Purge Tool
M950 P13 C"HEATER4" Q250

RE: Help with DC motor configure
@dc42 Duet2 /Ether running RRF 3.4.1.
I'm electronically clueless and cooked one of the fan ports. The gearmotor wants 5v at about 100ma. On/off only.
The documentation refers to Port0 but the expansion connectors range from 1 to 50 - I'm also not clear on the port naming issue in RFF3.
A sample config and where the wire connect (1 to 50) whould be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help, both of you. -
Help with DC motor configure
I've tried the install a small DC gearmotor on heater E1 with no success. I wish to turn it on and off using a macro. No joy - can anyone suggest the config.sys entries and associated on and off commands. Thanks.

Un-supported E13 shaper message
PanelDue displays E13 as unsupported (3.4.1). No such message on the web control.

RE: RRF3 heater configuration fail
@alankilian
Thanks to all heaters finally sorted. Mainly typos with a spoonful of stupidity.
Installed 3.4.1 and did a character by character proof.
No, not 137F ( a pleasant 82F today). The displayed 57c was, I guess, a clever artifact of my config.g construct. -
RE: RRF3 heater configuration fail
@alankilian
Would you mind posting the heater section of your config? Maybe a character by character comparison might yield a positive result.

RE: RRF3 heater configuration fail
@droftarts
Still a problem in heater and sensor mapping that I've been unable to cure. As below note that both heaters are driven by the EXT heater - ie - if I enter a temp into either bed or tool "active" the extruder temp only responds. No bed heating occurs - only the nozzle heater. -
RE: RRF3 heater configuration fail
@droftarts
You da man. The C factor was off by a mere 8 powers of 10. I had stared at and compared the old>new configs ad nauseum and didn't see the missing exponentials. Thanks much. -
RRF3 heater configuration fail
Finally migrating from my trusty 2xx to RRF 3.1.1. All seems well except the heater configs are AFU. The environment is a delta/Duet2 ethernet. This pic tells my strange story. Note that the extruder heater really is on the E1 pins.
The heater section of the config.g . . . .
All help appreciated. . Cheers bob
