Hi folks well its been a long road but almost there I have the strangest issue I have an Anycubic Predator 3D Printer and I find without any reason my brand new E4 extruder motor like the one I replaced before it decided to shudder instead of pushing through the plastic I put my finger on the extruder and it will let me push the motor either way and then suddenly retract or push through like it should do I have no idea what can be causing this can anyone shed any light on this issue my motor is not hot and there are heatsinks on the stepper drivers and constant cooling Help please any suggestions welcome I don't know if its anything to do with it but I notice all the other stepper drivers have a red light next to them and my extruder does not could this mean I have the wiring wrong for the stepper.

Hi Everyone well I have installed a BLTouch on my any cubic predator as I gave up with the infrared sensor

Now I have recognized a huge problem if I probe the bed in different locations manually it works fine and the readings are not far out but if I start at a set height in the middle of the bed and move to any corner I crash into the bed so the nozzle height seams to lower any direction I go making it impossible to do a calibration and print now this worked fine on the original board so i am thinking it has to be a setting can anyone tell me can this be a configuration problem for example if the stepper motors settings were incorrect as I am baffled now

Anycubic Predator base there is a little shine to it but quite dull

Hi I have just upgraded my bed levelling on my any cubic predator to an infrared sensor official duet one and I am having this issue the picture of my bed map looks like the Himalayas here is my config of the z prob settings can anyone advise the deviation I get back does not sound bad
101 points probed, min error -1.890, max error 0.889, mean -0.054, deviation 0.630

but as I say the map is nothing like when I used to use the microswitch I changed cause I didn't want the hassle of putting the microswitch on the printer all the time

i previously had a microswitch probe on the nozzle but now I have an infrared duet sensor can anyone tell me what it should be set to trigger at as I have it at 500 currently and my bed reports it's like the Himalayas

I have just installed a infrared probe from duet3d on my any cubic predator and it is approx 2.5cm in front of the nozzle is there any way I can tell the board the location it is probing is incorrect and give it the correct distance

I have spotted in another post that the 40watt Heater that comes with the Anycubic Predator is to powerfull for the Duet 2 wifi setup is this true and if so what would you recommend as a setup

@kenbigt sorry just want to be 100% understanding do you want me to turn of the cooling fan that stops heat creep i do not have the part cooling fan on just the fan that comes on and of with the nozzle heating up

@dc42 so i have to stop my cooling fan to do the calibration is that correct

Hi All recently upgraded my Anycubic Predator to a Duet 2 Wifi board and 7" screen haveing a problem sometimes one of the axes are not homing and I get an error message insufficient axes homed all I need to do is click on home again or just on the axis and it homes and everything ok wondering is anyone can advise on this issue.

the temperature shot up to 210 then dropped to 197.5 this is a big part of the problem i print stuff at 230 -235 and if i let this continue i will melt my heater

Hi all i recently upgraded my Anycubic Predator to a Duet 2 Wifi board and 7" Screen and I am no expert when it comes to configuration but I have a problem I have calibrated the bed using the supplied probe with the predator and it works great gives me a map of the board but the offset I am talking about is how far the nozzle needs to be off the bed once it goes to print I have manually raised the nozzle to 0.65 to get the printer printing and works great but looking to find out how to set this so i don't have to do this all the time can anyone spare a few minutes and advise me how to do this i have tried to follow some instructions online but not getting anywhere

Hi all i have just upgraded my Anycubic Predator with a Duet 2 Wifi board and 7" Screen I have everything working apart from a very annoying problem I have run the Auto calibration on my nozzle heater and it will not stabilise if I ask the nozzle to be heated up to 200c the nozzle will heat up past that says 208c and when printing it is deviating up and down by a good 3 - 4 celsius the nozzle was a lot more stable with the original board has anyone come across this and can suggest a fix I can try many thanks.
