RE: Hooking up D5 pump to Duet 2
@nxt-1 said in Hooking up D5 pump to Duet 2:
Hello @nightmare90gt the safest and easiest way to wire a D5 is to wire the two +12v and GND pins directly to your psu. One of the remaining two pins is the tacho line indicating the pump speed, which you can leave disconnected. The last, pwm, pin controlls the pump speed and should be connected to a fan output on your Duet. After the proper configuration g-code side, you can control the pump speed from dwc/g-code.
Depending on whether you have a duet 2 or 3 you might be able to hook it up directly to the duet (3) but I am not sure. The method described above is at least how I did it on my duet 2.
I am not at home so I cannot share my fan config. For the which pin is which I suggest googling "4 wire fan pinout"
Hope this helps
-NxtThis is along the I was thinking was just unsure about the pwm side. I have the duet 2 wifi so our setups should be similar in that regard.

Hooking up D5 pump to Duet 2
I am in the process of installing a liquid mosquito hot end and I need to install a water pump. How would I wire it up? The specs of the pump are below.
Nominal voltage: 12 V DC
Operating voltage range: 8 to 24 VDC
Nominal power (@ 12 V): 37 W Max
Nominal current (@ 12 V): 2 amps
Motor type: Brushless, microprocessor controlled
Maximum head: 13 ft (4 m)
Maximum discharge:
~ 317 GPH (1200 LPH)
Performance will vary based on housing used -
RE: Werid slicer problems
I changed both to relative and they both seem to be off by .160mm per baby stepping. I have tried raising and lowering the probe height but just doesn't seem to work.

RE: Werid slicer problems
xyzCalibration_cube (Prusa).gcode xyzCalibration_cube (simp).gcode
simplified I have to adjust the baby set to .160mm to get a clean first layer.

Werid slicer problems
I have a werid problem. If I use prusaslicer the first layer is at the right height but with simplified3d is starts to high. What could cause this? I have checked settings no offsets are being added.

RE: Ender 5 Plus with dual z calibration
Think I figured it out. I looked to be a combination of the wheels on y axis a little to tight and the motor amperage. I appreciate the help and you sticking with me through it.
