    • PID Issues 3.4 RC1

      Hi all,

      So I have issued now M303 T0 S220....

Everything goes ok-ish; and after 24 minutes of 'tuning', I got:

Warning: heater behaviour was not consistent during tuning
Auto tune starting phase 4, measuring with fan on

This happens to both my hotend and my bed. Bed is AC powered by a relay.

      Any help/advice?

      Tinus

    • RE: Homex - and I am getting fed up

@Phaedrux Oh brother, rookie mistake. Broken wire. Tested continuity and then realized it was broken - I'm such an idiot!

A bit of a different Q, but still on this (kinda); what AWG wire do you use for the end stops? (And for the rest of the electronics?)

      @droftarts Hi!

@Phaedrux Cool thank you 🙂 Will have a look at it - I suspect the wire I was/am using is too thin - where I crimp it, sometimes it brakes off - and that means looking for trouble. The other wire I have is too thick - wonderful living in Africa!

PLEASE mark this also as Solved? 🙂

      Eureka!

      G32
      Manual corrections required: 0.00 turn up (0.00mm) 0.00 turn down (0.00mm) 0.76 turn up (-0.38mm) 0.81 turn up (-0.41mm)

The M671 I used to define the springs positions was not correct.

    • 3 Z steppers - can I move it individually?

      Hi,

Sometimes due to mechanical reasons (and the wonderful accuracy of my build) I experience that some of the 3 Z axis goes out of 'alignment' - so it inadvertently tilts the bed. Is there perhaps a G-code that I can issue to let me move one of the Z stepper motors? I will make maintenance (greasing and cleaning the lead screws) a lot easier too!

      Any/all help appreciated!
