    • RE: Toolboards currently on sale anywhere in the uk?

Hi Becky. Regrettably the answer is no. Duet3D is completely out of stock of Duet 3 Tool Boards and so are our resellers. A new production run has just started, so they should be available again within 10-14 days. Duet3D have Tool Distribution boards but they are not much use without the Tool Boards.

    • RE: PanelDue 7i came damaged

@hnwhite I'm sorry that E3D have not processed your warranty claim correctly. They should have asked you to fill out a Warranty form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdXpbRCNxUc2j_OePtuWdwyKPJ9VEg2Ohq_80f-VCZ4SCJJ9w/viewform. That will come directly to us at Duet3D and we will then ask E3D to send you a warranty replacement. Please complete the form now and I'll make sure that E3D send you another PanelDue 7i right away.

    • RE: PCBA Quality Issues

Thank you for drawing these assembly shortcomings to our attention. Please advise the Duet serial number - sticker on MCU - so we can identify the board and raise these issues with the assemblers at once. We would then like to replace your board with a new one and return it to the factory as detailed evidence of unacceptable practices. Please email info@duet3d.com so we can set this up.

    • RE: Bed heater fuse block replacement

We use part # MCCQ-122. It's listed by Newark in the US as their part # 08N2503 and by Farnell in the UK under order code 1586595. There should be many similar suitable alternative available as well - just search for Mini Blade Fuse Holder.

    • RE: Duet WiFi with external antenna

This is possible - we can get a batch of Duets assembled at the factory with the ESP07S module instead of the ESP12S, so no reworking will be required and the full warranty will apply. Please email me at think3dprint3d (at) gmail (dot) com so that we can discuss quantities, timing, etc.

    • RE: Ball Studs for Carriages

Yes, but they are not free! We reduced the price of the arms on the website by the price of 12 studs, so the arms alone are £58.00 and 12 studs are £12.00 making £70.00 for the full set, which is what we originally priced it at.

    • RE: Ball Studs for Carriages

That's correct. They are sold in sets of 6 so that people who want to have a quick-change second effector aren't forced to buy 12.

    • RE: Connecting to Wifi via the Touch Panel?

I prefer to put the M587 SSID and Password command in a "SETNETWORK" macro which I write to the SD card using a PC, and then run the macro from PanelDue.

    • RE: Current Sense Resistors on the Duet

At the moment we are using RL1632S-R051-F but with current shortages of passives you may need to search for others with the same specification - 0R051 1206 1% >=500mW.

    • RE: Kossel XL+ specifics

The T3P3 Kossel XL Plus heatbed is 300mm diameter and fits exactly on the triangle formed by the outside edges of the horizontal base extrusions. DC42's Precision Kossel (which our kit was largely based on) uses a 330mm diameter bed which extends outside the base triangle. Either will work, but the bigger bed will benefit from the more powerful 350W mains heater which DC42 uses.

    • RE: May I delete the included Macros?

Those macros are on the uSD card to enable setup of the Duet Wifi on a test rig at the factory, followed by functional testing. They are run from Pronterface over USB to upload the DuetWifiServer, then set the network SSID and password and start the network. The tests are then run using DO_NOT_RUN in DWC. You can delete all of them, though you may want to edit SET_NETWORK on a PC, inserting your own WiFi network details, and then run it over USB to get connected, before deleting it.
