If I have read correctly, no extra flyback diode is required on Fan 0 (already protected by board) for a part cooling fan ? It is a 12v brushless that cab take 230 or so mA.

Thanks
Hi,
Beginning to think that I have a Duet 2 not 0.85.. I have 5 fan pins like the 2 docs instead of four like the 0.85.. I tried to login to the old account but no luck with login or changing password.. I purchased on Aug 2, 2017.. Do I have a Duet 2?
Regards
What size difference between the boards ?
Are the dimensions listed somewhere?
Thanks and Regards
Hi.. Thanks.. Thought that would be the case.. I am running it off a 12V power supply so a 12V-2 wire print fan it is..
Thanks
Just double checking what I need here, a 2-wire 12V print fan for the Fan 0 (PWM) connector or am I reading the wire diagram wrong? I have 4 2-wire print connectors but it also has three jumpers below then again, it appears to be jumpered as VIn (12V).
Am I reading this all correct.. I wasn't expecting the jumpers or are they for something else?
Regards
@dc42 Thanks again .. machine is back and functioning well .. may even have solved titan extruder problem .. woo hoo..
@dc42 Once fully back .. and upgrade possible .. what version would you recommend and does it require a special link for the version 1? thanks again..
@bearer - will consider your advice after a full test and extruder replace..
@dc42 Super .. thanks .. back up and running on main network ..
@veti FOSE (Fear of side effects ) -- it was running fine and everything works .. or used to anyway..
Hi,
I have an old P3 Steel which has been off to the side for a while and I decided to resurrect it possibly just for some exotics, the old extruder is dead.
I tried to start it up but I changed internet providers so have a new network and password.
Brought up YAT to change the name and password for the old web interface but can't find the commands to change them.
The new docs for the Duet 2 use a M587 (1.19+?) command which is not supported under 1.18?
Anyone know the old commands to set them under 1.18? I really don't want to upgrade to a newer software release unless I have to and honestly couldn't find any info on Duet 1.0 anyway..
Thanks..
Thanks that did it .. did'nt have the S in front of the temp ..
Trying to run a M303 H1 300, is that correct ?
Tried adding that to config, but no change.. It still will not let me set a temp above 260.. is this a firmware thing?
Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: temperature above limit
Seeing a bunch of these and then shutdown ..
I am hoping there is a limit setting somewhere in config files?
Trying to use XT-CF20 Carbon Fiber filament and have run into a perplexing situation..
I preheat to 260, E3D hotend, extrude a bit, all ok .. and then I get a heater fault and the board disconnects heater and refuses to react without a power down-power up.
It refuses to accept a 275 degree temp, just ignores it, but allows 260, all through web interface ..
Can't find any commands in config files to limit temp, but probably just not seeing it ..
The heater fault though is making me a bit crazy ..
Any thoughts
@CaLviNx Not much of mine is original anymore either .. It is fun isnt it?
@ my67nova This thing does not even get warm with an SSR40 .. no heat sink required..
@ number40fan .. Thanks, finally figured it out with your direction .. All the best ..
