Working on acquiring electronics for use with 6HC board. Looking at end stops, can I use the mechanicals from donor N2 Plus, or best to change to electronic?

Will the Duet 3 Main Board 6HC allow use of bi-polar stepper motors? or stay with uni-polar? Will I need to install H bridges?

Thanks guys!!! Wasn't quite descriptive as should have been. Doing due research, Line-up will be the 6HC, Raspberry Pi, and PanelDue. What I really hate to lose is that Raise style information on display, hence asking about using code off N2's SIM card.

Wiring not an issue, starting wiring when my dad would get me Popular Electronics 3 tube (vacuum) radio kits, back in the 1960's.

Stepper motor currents are next on the "figure it out" list, Stay tuned. Contacted Raise, about N2 existing. Most they would reply is motor size designation, you'll be able to go from there. Are NEMA 11 enough to drag extruder/mosquito hotend/ fan, bed level probe, and PC board across 12" of MGN-12 with H blocks? Or go NEMA 17? What about motor brand preferences?

End stops, Would like to set them all either NO or NC, Will replace all as they are inexpensive, any brand preference?

Working on understanding the Duet 3 6HC 3D offering. Rebirthing a Raise N2 dual to IDEX, is it possible to swipe SD card out of N2 controller board, edit what is required? Really would like to keep the Raise display. Also is there a spot on this board to plug in a WiFi card. I'm a hard-wire guy, just checking.

Converting an idle Raise N2 + Dual to IDEX capability. Contacted Raise, hoping to retain the Raise interface, to be as seamless as possible between my E2 and the N2 when setting up a print job. Raise is not too forthcoming, mostly, nothing will work, cannot use E2 motion board, even if logic board and touch screen were from the E2. Forget even using the N2 logic board/touchscreen with E2 motion board.
That said, Raise uses modified Duet electronics. Going to go Duet. I'm more on the mechanical side, electronics a bit foggy, understand, but not quite enough to understand what Duet package would be best.

Need help in putting together correct compliment. Need IDEX capability. Would like auto bed leveling, of course 32 bit. WiFi ok, not necessary - I'm a hardwire guy. Will either N2 or E2 printhead boards work, or switch them to a Duet part be best? Can I install Raise firmware from E2 to run IDEX N2? Can the Raise touchscreen butt-up to Duet logic board.

Would it be wise or necessary to change out Power Supply?

Going to use Mosquito Magnum hot ends and Bondtech LGX extruders.
