Ah haa, I just found another problem. My extruder motor is going in the wrong direction. After forcing the pla thru I was able to get some plastic on the buildplate so how does one change the extruder in the correct direction and I believe I can finally over 3 months print my test cube. I can't believe that it is something as simple as that. But with the z height change I can atleast now get the plastic thru.
I'm getting giddy with the closeness of this project.

So another step closer and more tweaking. Its a smart effector and 200 temp. The problem now is that the hot end is too close to the build surface. Its not allowing the pla to come out of the end. I run the automatic bed leveling and from there its just too close to the build surface. I will try tomorrow again to go over the initial steps of getting the bed level but the change in the M208 command got me closer.

Ok its closer now the extruder motor isn't feeding the pla, alot of clicking from the motor so I will investigate to see why it isn't feeding the pla into the hot end.
But it is slowly looking like it should and when it tried to print the hot end was much closer to the build plate.
Getting excited and thank you to all who have helped. There is no way that I would be able to do this on my own. So thank you again.

Ok I'm soooo close I can just about taste it. I can get my delta (old monoprice garbage) to heat up, auto home, and run thru the delta auto calibration. And it gives me that 3d picture of my very uneven glass. When I go to print it runs thru the auto calibration setup and then gives me the "Error: G1/G2/G3: intermediate position outside machine limits ." Ok so I can get heat to the delta and I can probe all around and get values. I wanted to do a test cube and I get the following error 205 command is not supported. I'm using cura (the newest version), newest firmware, and duet wifi. I also heard some strange noises coming from my delta. I hope I'm getting closer but I'm glad I can get the heater to work and the smart effector to also work.

Ok we are heating, after some probing the soldering job on the duet board was poor on the terminal block, on the negative side of E0. I'm now heating the end and onto some other calibration stuff. (At least my wiring was ok, so I'm not super down on myself;)
Thanks sooo much for all of your help, because without it my delta would of been sold by now. My hope now is to get a print and go from there.

Ok can I assume that I can test from the duet board 1st from the bottom of the board (below the terminal block) on the + and - that I should get a complete circuit? (sorry about the basic question.) If I don't and the wires show a complete circuit could I have a problem with my connection with the block?

Heater Error problems and confusion.
Howdy again, I've got the replacement smart effector and its working well now so that is a good thing. But even as before I cannot for the life of me to get the hot end heater working. I'm on a 12v power supply. I've tried new thermistor and a new premium E3d heater cartridge 12v 30w and re wired the 6 molex plug again and it still shows that I'm heating up too slow. I've tried both E0 and E1 plugs in the main duet wifi board and it still shows the error. I've tried the following as well:

I just tried to change the sensitivity all the way up to 200, but the green led and values keep changing. I unplugged the 6 way molex connector on the effector to eliminate the interference and I still keep getting the varying values and led's random blinking. I will go back and again check my crimping but with the fans not even connected and nothing else that could cause interference, what could I be missing? Or do I have a bad effector??

I've re crimped all of it and now I get the values from 0 (which I did go hurray) to 1000. As the smart efffector when 1st turned on it blinks twice and then with no fans turned on it just randomly blinks. The values are all over the area from 0 to 1000 on the duet web control screen. I'm going to go back on check all my crimps but I must be missing something. When you gently tap the hot end you briefly see it turn on but then goes back to the random blinking with strange 0- 1000 z probe values.

I'm totally new to this idea and I have gone over the info a few times and I'm totally stuck. I can get my Delta printer (which was a micromaker D1 delta) to home but I must be doing something wrong. My G31 parameter is coming out 1000. I tried the auto calibrate option but it also doesn't work.
