Bltouch setup need help

@Elvis0z you should check G31 Z value also, please see my last post above.
In homeall I would move the hotend to the middle of the bed before probing Z, instead G1 X15 Y15 F6000 I would call
G1 X100 Y100 F6000
to be sure you don't probe outside of the bed one day and not triggering (when bed or endstop moved a bit eg). -
This was the last error
G28
Error: Z probe was not triggered during probing move
Error: Homing failed -
@Elvis0z was your bltouch over the bed and was it deployed?
-
@JoergS5 Yes
-
M401
M402
Both these commands work -
@Elvis0z did it have a bit of distance to the bed? There are some documentation to the installation. The Z height in reference to the nozzle is important.
The image right lower on page 1 in the https://locxess.de/3d/BLTouch_Anleitung_englisch.pdf
document, the 8mm. -
Yep it probes way above the bed.
-
@Elvis0z can you please republish config and homeall like it is now, so I can recheck?

@Elvis0z to be sure: your BLtouch is right and behind the nozzle?
-
Yep right and behind
-
@Elvis0z are you sure G31 Z is 0? This would mean the BLtouch triggers when the nozzle touches the bed.
Please recheck steps 5-7 in https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe#Section_Calibrate_the_Z_probe_trigger_height . You could trial and error some values for Z also... (Z positive) - I would do thatI don't see other problems, I would only remove the + signs from
G31 P25 X+41 Y+10 Z0.0
they will probably be interpreted correctly, but I didn't see + signs in the examples, so to be sure, I would remove them. -
I cant go down on the z
As it won't home z
Should I just manually move the hotend to the bed -
@Elvis0z you can of course move Z carefully down with the small G1 Z movements (+Z0.1 etc) until you have the famous one-sheet-paper-distance, then say G92 Z0 to set 0 position. But this is no general solution. There must be a reason why it is not working as expected.
Maybe someone other has an idea what's wrong. -

in front of zprobe.in -
Thanks heaps hey. I'm futher ahead than I have been. At least its moving and the probe works with M401 and 2. That did not work befor

@Elvis0z said in Bltouch setup need help:
Hey guys need help to set this up its a v1.0 bltouch.
Is this a version with the trace to cut or does it come with the resistor? It's been a long time since I've seen anyone with a V1, so I'm wondering if it matters in this case. If it's a new Duet 1.04 it can't be hurt by 5v, but perhaps there is something in the BLtouch that will not trigger. If removing the ^ and checking your white wire is fruitless, maybe look into the trace/resistor
-
No I replaced it with a v3.1 that I had
-
If I send command M401 and M402 it triggers
