have almost 300 pre-production boards early in December, so there should be enough for those who want to try them. better start saving my pennies the perfect board for me , and people wanting to upgrade ender 3s type printers, they should sell well

The PCB is not the same between wifi and ethernet like for Duet2 ?
I love the possibility to swap from wifi to Ethernet by swap the wifi module to Ethernet module on Duet 2, it's cheaper than buy an another Duet. -

Probably wise to use a fan, but my guess is that you wouldn't get any overheat warnings even without fan cooling.

Great that sd-slot doesn´t sit under the ethernet any more, so easier to get the card out

@dc42 Thermal via are available on the bottom side under the TMC, for allow to add a heatsink to increase the thermal area ?

thats a clone of the duet 3. hmm
most of the time the clones cheap out on the copper in the pcb, which means the pcb can not act as a heatsink like its supposed to. that is why you see heatsinks on the clone boards. -
