      Thanks for the remind Doug!

I have published the adapter on Thingiverse. Quite a simple little design really.

Will the new hotend mount be mandatory to be able to use the new effector?

If yes then it would be great if you could offer a bundle, that will help to reduce customs costs for importing because everything is shipped in one package from one vendor.

Yes we will offer a kit comprising the effector + carriage adapters + connectors + custom E3Dv6 heatsink. You will be able to order other E3Dv6 parts at the same time if you want.

              @Hergonoway:

Dumb question, there's a jumper to switch from 12 to 24v, is it just to select the VIN you've got right, it doesn't let you plug 12v fan on a 24 VIN ?

It's just to select the correct series resistor for the illumination LEDs. It doesn't affect the voltage fed to the fans.

Regarding the print cooling fan, we have a suggested printable design for a fan bracket and fan duct to suit a 40mm x 10mm fan; but you can of course use a different design instead.

So with the kit I won't use my genuine E3D heatsink but the custom one in the kit?

                Delta goes BrrrRRRRrrrrrRRRRrrr

No but again all the other parts from the lite are the same as the full so you just need to custom Heatsink parts. plus a heatbreak, Nozzle and heater parts are common.

The first 4 production effectors passed testing this morning, so I've just given the go ahead for manufacture of the rest of this batch to proceed.

So I guess we are talking about 2-3 weeks for them to be available then?

It's a secret until we start shipping them.

does it will be compatible with smoothieware software?
i hope uk shipping cost will not killing us..(it so expansive..)

It should work with other electronics and firmware if you accept the default sensitivity. Whether that will work for you depends on the level of vibration of the effector during probing.

The nozzle contact sensor is built in, so no need for a piezo. At least one of our beta testers is looking at mounting a Nimble on it.

Yes Dougal1957 has a Nimble mounted on it and indeed, it is a great combo.
His pictures of the combination are on page 6 of this thread, as is the link to the adapter he used.

but does it will be better than a simple micro switch accuracy?

From what I have seen of mesh bed comp between piezo and dc effector it wins hands down, I know doug has had experience with piezo and dc effector and he can't praise it enough. Getting to 0.002 dev on his tests
