      @falkia THESE will work.

      You power the LED side with 5 Volts and pull the output up to 3.3 Volts.

      Are you looking for something particular?

      There are lots of optical interrupters so I'm sure we can find something for you.

      HERE'S a data sheet showing quite a few from this series.

          Both of these have worked for me with my duet 2 wifi boards but the second one is marked unavailable right now.

            This one have the connector in the direction that will fit the design of the printer I'm building. The specification doesn't say much.
            Do you think it will work?

              @falkia Those look exactly like the one that I'm using for my X axis.

              AFAIK, those were specced for 5V, but don't seem to have any difficulty at all on 3V3. I bought mine yonks ago before I even had a Duet, intending to use them with a RAMPS 1.4, but ... didn't. So they sat in a drawer while I used a mechanical endstop for a long time, until I got tired of it clicking. (Well, it was losing the little lever arm for the switch that finally did it, truth be told.) Then I replaced it with the optical, and it's been fine.

              As I recall, for the Duet I had to change the wiring order for the connector, I just popped 2 wires out and switched them around. As I recall, these come wired for GND, SIG, +5V, and the Duet is GND, +3V3, SIG, so the VCC and SIG wires needed to be swapped. The lower voltage didn't seem to bother it at all.

                @falkia The one I linked above has a comparator chip that switches hard on/off when the endstop is triggered. Without that you have to rely on software debounce in the controller board (which may be there- I don't know).

                  @mrehorstdmd Looks good, unfortunately they seems to be unavailable everywhere.

                    @falkia Most (non-3D) broken or superseded printers have at least a couple of optical endstops, so scavenging is a good option.

                        Thanks for all inputs. I ordered These. Supply voltage 3-6V and with LM393. Not the cheapest ones but located in Europe (shipping from China takes forever nowadays). I hope they will work. 🤔
