      I didn't see it actually lifting off so yes, it needs to be faster ....

          @chriss it seems it is banging the head twice against the frame... I'd say you need to go a little slower....

            @matt3o, that wasn't the question. The question was 'does it need to go faster'. No parameters where mentioned so a bit of knocking shouldn't really enter into the equation 🙂

              @jens55 there's no such thing as "fast enough" in 3d printing 😄

                @matt3o ... exactly! Layer shift and crumbling print be damned 🙂

                    @matt3o

                    That is what you hear, indeed. But it happens in slower speed too. The switches are to flush, so the always have the "mechanical" impact. That is the next thing. 😉 And I have to reduce the speed a lot, that was for testing and to swank only. 😉

                    I'm sooo happy that the tiny nema14 are now able to move everything in high speed. The V0 skipped steps at 130mm/s with the old stepper.

                    Cheers, Chriss

                      @chriss, did you purchase a kit or did you source the parts individually? With Vorons, if you stick to the sourcing list the parts (and steppers in this case) should be good.

                        IR Beam Break devices for position sensing are nice - they are accurate and silent.
