@duncan said in Resume fails sometimes:

definitely something sus about this one....

Now it seems to be failing all times I try to resume, any ideas?
-
Would you be willing to try the 3.4 betas to see if there is a difference in behaviour?
Can you upload your config.g and other macros homing, pause, etc as files so that we can see if there is something odd going on?
-
-
@duncan said in Resume fails sometimes:
About my files, they are on my previous replys
I mean can you upload them as actual files, that way all characters are preserved incase there is a bad hidden character or something.
-
-
I don't see anything strange in there. Can you send M98 P"config.g" and see if any errors come up?
I look forward to seeing if the 3.4 release makes a difference here.
-
@phaedrux I get this error:
Error: Setting not available for external drivers Setting not available for external drivers Warning: Heater 0 appears to be over-powered. If left on at full power, its temperature is predicted to reach 365C
-
@phaedrux any ideas? reading other issues of this error I think it's for the M350 and M906 that define X and Y motors that are with the external boards and drivers, but that can cause the problem of the resume?
Is this a known error in 3.3 version? that's why you're suggesting trying 3.4 beta?
-
There are many fixes between 3.3 and 3.4 so it would be helpful to know if those fixes have already solved your problem, or if it remains and requires further digging. Using the most recent code base makes that a bit easier.
-
@phaedrux I test this morning and it's very strange.
If I use M600 and send the GCODE, the machine pause, and then I can use the resume button and works fine.
But if I use the Pause button always fails...
any ideas?
-
Is that after updating to 3.4 beta 6?
-
@phaedrux no, still on 3.3.
I don't know if I upgrade to beta if I can fix one thing and break a couple more...
