      @icy_snake what upload speed are you getting? What size is the file that takes 10 minutes to upload over Ethernet?

        @dc42 my upload speed is around 429.8 KiB/s

        the file is a small file of 289441 KB

        so it´s more than 10 minutes to upload.

        What happens if i use the full plattform from my printer 1800mm x 660 x660 for a project? it will take hours, or?

        Do y need the file?

        thx

              Is there a way to speed it up?

              One way would be to switch to a Duet3 board that allows for a SBC connection like a RaspberryPi. The Pi takes over networking and file management. Uploading to a wired Pi4 would be substantially faster. The Duet2 has limited ram capacity for buffering the upload before writing to the SD card.

                @phaedrux yes 290MB is small.
                My small printer can handle 600x600x660.
                On the big printer 1800x600x600

                So files sizes are easy between 200MB and 1000MB or more.

                    @icy_snake your upload speed is somewhat lower than we would expect. You may be able to improve it somewhat by using a better SD card. Format it using the largest cluster size possible, which is normally 64kb. The maximum SD card size supported is 32Gb.

                      @icy_snake Also check if your current SD card is nearly full, and if files are being fragmented, which will slow down read and write speeds. You can check free space and cluster size of the SD card on the Duet by sending M39.

                          @icy_snake you can also use M122 P104 to test the speed of writing to the SD card. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Reference/Gcodes#m122-diagnose.

                              @icy_snake not a space issue, then! What firmware version are you running? Newer versions tend to be a bit faster. Sent M115 to check.
