@mfs12 I can't see it being mentioned in the release notes. But will this also address the issue with thumbnails not showing up btw? Or is this a RRF issue and not PD?

I just had the time to test it, and PD still don't display thumbnails for all jobs.

Sliced two jobs with PrusaSlicer 2.6.0-b2 (400x000, 160x160 thumbnails) and only one displays the thumbnail ( the one named E3D flowtest).

I uploaded the files here so you can give it a go yourself.

This is on a Duet 3 Mini running RRF 3.5.0-beta.3+ and a PanelDue 5" v3 with this fw release.

@Exerqtor Just to add my two cents: I also tried your files and neither of the thumbnails are displayed on my PD

This is on a Duet 3 6HC 1. RRF 3.5.0-beta.3 and a PanelDue 5i with this fw release.

just tested the LGX file... the second thumbnail header is not transferred by RRF. So Paneldue can't do anythung about it. perhaps you can regenerate the file.

@mfs12 Hmm okey, in regenerate you mean try to slice it again and see if it gets another outcome?

Do you have input on what might be causing this @dc42? (if the issue stems from RRF side of things I mean)

@Exerqtor i don't think the gcode part is the problem, but something might be wrong with the thumbnail header and payload.

Found another issue and fixed it. In some cases the filename is reset and no thumbnails can be requested.

But this is unrelated to @Exerqtor problem. I double checked his file and it still persists.

@Exerqtor there were two issues:

RRF didn't parse enough of the start of the file to find all the thumbnails, when there was a large thumbnail image. In the RRF 3.5 beta releases the amount of data parsed has been increased.
PanelDue only considered the last thumbnail that was found, so it it was too large then no thumbnail was displayed even if there was an earlier thumbnail file that was small enough (e.g. 160x160 pixels). I have confirmed that this is fixed in PanelDueFirmware 3.5.0-rc5.

Okey, but unless I missread something it should be working for me now then? Since the first thumbnail is 400x400 and the second (only have two)160x160, and i'm running RRF 3.5b3+ and PD with 3.5rc5?

@Exerqtor the message from @mfs12 indicates that the filename for the second thumbnail may be lost, so maybe that is causing the problem for you. I tested with the thumbnails generated in the opposite order.
