I have bought a Duet Wifi v1.04 and would like to continue using my existing Lerdge Power Monitoring module.

Can I connect a Lerdge Power Monitoring Module to the Duet Wifi v1.04?

    I mean this Modul: https://www.banggood.com/Lerdge-3D-Printer-Power-Monitoring-Module-Continued-to-Play-Printing-Automatically-Put-off-p-1328145.html?admitad_uid=fad9d51316ed24ef0e20a4a7af11915c&utm_content=90289&tagtag_uid=fad9d51316ed24ef0e20a4a7af11915c&cur_warehouse=CN

      Probably compatible with this https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Power_Wiring#Section_Controlling_the_external_power_supply

But since they don't provide any documentation, or release the sources for their more than likely RepRap forked firmware I cannot say for sure. Maybe someone else has already tried?

However if it is compatible with the Duet documentation, then you need a separate 5V supply as outlined in the wiki.

Edit: would maybe look at Makerbase MKS PWC V2.0 instead, they're about equally shady but has 5v supply and signaling seems to be compatible.

Hmmmmm ... So it says: Try it.

Unfortunately, I do not really know anything about electronics and really only understand the absolute principles.

I also have the MKS PWC 2.0 here. How would you have to wire that?
Do I have to wire this as stated in the description for the MKS PWC, or do I have to pay attention to something here? The 5V voltage described in the wiki disappears when using the MKS PWC module?

Should be able to use the diagram here
          https://github.com/makerbase-mks/MKS-TFT/issues/112

S1 on PWC to PS_ON on duet. (and 5v/gnd of course)

And for the resume wire S0 to a free input on the Duet and follow

          https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Setting_up_to_resume_a_print_after_a_power_failure

gomines created this issue 10 Feb 2018, 02:34 in makerbase-mks/MKS-TFT

          closed MKS PWC (Auto-Off) + SBase #112

Although don't know if the 5V/0.6A provided by the MKS PWC unit is sufficient for the Duet.

This may shed some light on that:

First: You mean the Wiring from the first posting?
              This: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/35586270/36057698-87f482dc-0df0-11e8-983e-dbaf89b09f5a.png

              Second:
              What mean: (and 5V/gnd ofc)?

              I don't understand the "ofc"

              And Last:
I can use this wiring for the rest:

Yeah, it has the S1 and S0 labels on the MKS PWC, they are the PS_ON output and PowerLoss input signals respectively.

                  Ok ... I read and hope I understand ๐Ÿ™‚

For the rest of wiring I can use this picture too:
                  alt text

I know the picture is for the MKS Gen 1.4, but I mean the routing for the other cables

                    Hi,

                    if your goal is:

                    • 24v supply on / off via gcode or dwc
                    • emergency stop switch
                    • reset

                    try this:

                    0_1556863779814_PulleyxCube_Schaltplan.jpg

You only need : example for a opto low-level trigger-relay

@crazycreator Duet is able to resume after a power loss, if you set it up: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Setting_up_to_resume_a_print_after_a_power_failure

                        @thwe and @Stephen6309
My only concern is to have a 16mm button on the front of the printer, with this I want to turn on the printer.

If I can turn off the printer with this button, that would be nice, but it is not necessary. I can do that also via web interface

If anybody came accross the same thing ๐Ÿ˜ƒ i got a solution. now the baord turns ON with the front button.

                          alt text

Sidenote: it does not matter where you get the 5v from. The pins from the main extension ports are allready if use on my board (bltouch).

@CrazyCreator it does not matter. The lerdge board simply gets 5v from the duet and stays on for the time it has 5v connected. No cdg changes necessary. ๐Ÿ™‚

Donโ€™t feel bad this module has beaten me as well for time being. I went to the solid state relay setup as highlighted above and was much simpler to get going with the same button. But... I really would like to figure this out too at some point lol.

Little correction, for me, itโ€™s the Makerbase MKS PWC V2.0 module. No matter what I tried, just couldnโ€™t get it to work.
