Had to enter lower case pword letters with preceding single quote. That got Duet connected to SHOP2.
But I tried everything and cannot get SHOP off the remembered list. That's OK though, as long as Duet connects to SHOP2. -
@danl if you enter
M588 S"*", it should delete all known networks, then only add shop2 and you should be good to go. -

@danl, M588 S"SHOP" should be all you need to send, if the original access point is called exactly SHOP.

Right. I entered exactly M588 S"SHOP" using YAT, to no effect.
I want to keep DANL2.4 and SHOP2.This is how SHOP is reported from M588:
Remembered networks:<LF>T********** IP=xxx.xxx.x.xx GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>DANL2.4 IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>SHOP IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>SHOP2 IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>ok<LF>All is working fine now on SHOP2. Pesky SHOP......

Are you using DuetWiFiServer version 1.23? If so then I'll re-test this.
You will get clearer responses in YAT if you go into Settings -> Text Settings and change the line ending to LF only.

Though you should be able to upload the entire zip file to the DWC settings page and it will update everything as needed.

But you can just download the zip file from the second link and upload that to get everything at once.

Yep...just before your response the lightbulb went on. I was trying to upload the unzipped folder. In retrospect, this stuff seems straightforward, but the first time through is a bear.
Loaded the full zipped folder and it loaded fine.
Are differences summarized somewhere please?

Got through loading 1.23 and the M588 worked first try.
Thanks for all the help....and patience...ha.
Feel like I'm still in 3D printing kindergarten, but amazed how good the DuetWiFi is. That old chinese board, drivers and Marlin were driving me crazy.Just bought a second printer - another disowned, unloved, pre-assembled FT5. This kit does build into a good printer with some TLC. Some mechanical and electrical upgrades and it should be great....but only with another Duet and PDue.
So...should I get another DuetWF now, or is a newer version maybe coming sometime soon? -
@danl I think the duet 3 would be overkill for an ft5. The duet 2 boards aren't being replaced either they are still sticking around. The 3 is just another tier above that for people who need more.
